These tests are driving me insane! I took this one today at lunchtime after a negative CB this morning. Does anyone have any experience with these being wrong? Sure I’m not seeing things! Xx AF is due tomorrow (ish)

I have never used these test but keep hearing how faulty they can be...however, my ideology is that if you got one evap or indent line then i can understand, but I see lines on several of your tests. Personally I'd be thinking I'm pregnant.... But like I said I never used these tests.

@VixFromThe6ix thank you! I agree, it’s just the CB and other cheapies are saying negative! So frustrating! I guess time will tell 🙏🏻

FRER are definitely the most reliable in my experience. I'm just lurking at the moment as I'm getting married in June and have stopped taking my pill to figure out my cycles before trying from June (so I can have a drink at the wedding haha)

MN was amazing when I was TTC my now 2 year old and I made friends for life who I still speak to every day now!

Anyways, FRER are definitely the best tests but you're testing way to often. No shade at all, I was a serial tester and shudder to think how much I spent!

I had the same worries as you as mine fluctuated but honestly it just depends how hydrated you are and how long since you last went to the loo. I was always a bit weird as my evening tests were always darker than my FMU. Realistically though the change in HCG in one day is tiny, so just being a little more hydrated can make the test appear lighter.

I'd suggest picking a time of day to test, probably first thing but for me I always found evening with at least a 2h hold to be the darkest ones. Then ONLY repeat after 48h, no sooner.

Good luck!

I can see a faint line - in my experience that’s a definite positive!! Congrats 🥳

Twoinapod · 02/04/2023 22:31

from all the frer I have used if it’s negative you will have a completely stark white result. You have definite lines. Congratulations

This morning results….. I would urge everyone to step away from first response! How frustrating! Xx

And I’ve just had my HGC level blood results from Friday, they’re at 1. So frer are clearly shocking xx

I’ve had lots of these lines last cycle on frer so much so I was convinced I was pregnant and spent a fortune there awful lately so I’m not testing until I’m late this time. I’ve bought cheapies and won’t be using a better test until I get a line on a cheapie I spent so much money last cycle x

@ElleJones1 there are really no trusted brands on the market anymore 😫😫

LeopardLover · 03/04/2023 13:35

@ElleJones1 Sorry to hear this! 🙁 So frustrating these can't be trusted but cost so much!
