Worried about progression

Tests from 10-13dpo. I had a chemical in December and I am so anxious that this mornings test (13dpo) isn’t as dark as yesterdays. Having a real tough time. Can anyone give me a little advice/their opinion

There will be those that come along to say stop testing and comparing but I've been there and spent a fortune on tests over the years too

Yes I would say the latest test isn't much darker than the day before that being said with my twins I had 2 consecutive days where there didn't seem much progression but then the 3rd day was much better.

Tests are so sensitive even a slight variable in wee concentration can have a huge effect

Honestly it could go either way - I don't mean that unkindly - I just want to be honest x

SJVX · 02/04/2023 10:48

Thank you for your honesty. I’m ready for the comments, I’m massively upset this morning was expecting a stronger line, I have a little girl and I never had any of this worry with her, got one positive test and stopped testing and had a healthy and happy pregnancy. I think due to the chemical I am just so anxious and scared. Thanks for taking your time to rely, It’s a waiting game now I guess x

Mine got lighter. I’m now 10 weeks and had pregnancy confirmed by a scan. Honestly stop testing. They just cause stress and worry and don’t necessarily give the reassurance you’re looking for.

Thank you so much for this. I still feel pregnant, tingly boobs and big bloated belly, you’re right I am torturing myself. No more. Thanks for your reply x

That looks like a progression to me! For your own sanity, go get a blood test and then another one in a week's time maybe to see HCG levels. Congratulations!!!

allgoodthings84 · 02/04/2023 17:54

HCG rises every 48 hours so often not much point in doing them every day if you’re anxious. Trust me I’ve been there I had 2 early losses and now 19 weeks so know how you feel but I made myself only test every 48 hours and only took 3 tests as knew it would make me worse.

The line is darker on your 12dpo than the 10dpo (48 hours) and the 13dpo is darker than the 11dpo (48 hours). That’s line progression. It’s normal for the lines to be similar just 1 day apart so early on honestly.

Thank you so much for this insight and for understanding. I’m going to test once more tomorrow morning and then let nature run its course. Thank you so much for replying and for the reassurance :)

You are right Vix I’m gonna ring my GP tomorrow and explain my anxieties and hopefully they’ll get me in for bloods. Thanks for your reply and your reassurance :)

@SJVX I hope it all goes really well for you. Pregnancy is a very anxious time. I still feel it but it gets easier when the weeks go by. It doesn’t go away but gets easier 💕

HannahLouD · 03/04/2023 10:37

@sjvx did you test again this morning? I really hope you're ok!
I massively feel for you... I had a chemical in Feb and it was heartbreaking and I knew it was happening because of stalled line progression between days 12-14dpo. I'm very early pregnant again now (cycle after cp) but only 16dpo. My tests were all over the place (lighter/darker/lighter again) between 11-13dpo... 14dpo my test/control line were the same colour and yesterday at 15dpo I got that start of my dye stealer... Going to test one more time today and then I'll stop and just hope for the best! Hoping I'm not having another chemical. It's so nerve wracking so I completely get it.
Thinking of you and fingers crossed x

I feel exactly the same as you and I feel like I’ve had stalled line progression too but I still feel pregnant. I took a photo of my tests this morning

1st test is 10dpo, 2nd test is 12 dpo and 3rd test is this morning at 14dpo what do you think? 14dpo is darker but not much darker than 12dpo. Please be honest did yours look like this?

With my chemical in December i had extremely faint lines but never this dark.

The fact that you have an almost dye stealer is so positive and I am so happy for you, praying that my little baba sticks too. Do you have any progression photos?

@SJVX First picture was last month... Started bleeding about 5 days later.

Second picture is now...Only started using frer at 13dpo this month as couldn't get any before so was testing with other tests... I think it's going to happen for me again this month tbh. Little progression again and not a darker test today :( really really hope it works out for you!!!x

I think it's definitely darker - I stopped testing with my twins after about 13DPO and I don't think they were much darker than yours to be honest considering I had two in there

SJVX · 03/04/2023 13:49

I’m gonna stop testing now I think. I’m driving myself potty haha xx

So I know I said I’d stop testing but I took one more and it has reassured me enough to put down the tests and let it be. Thank you ladies for all your support and for reassuring my insane brain haha.

Thank you so much for your reassurance the last few days, I am embarrassed at how manic I have been haha x

@SJVX I was the same after losses. It’s really hard.

HannahLouD · 04/04/2023 19:32

@SJVX that test looks awesome! That's great progression! 🥳
I've taken my last test today... I don't think it's going to get much darker... The last 3 days have been the same really... I've seen tests that steal literally all the dye, but don't think that's happening for me 😅 they've not got lighter so that's a win and I'm happy... For now... 🙈x

HannahLouD · 04/04/2023 19:36

I think my day 15 test looks the darkest but maybe that's because the control is skinny... The last two tests have darker pink kids and the control lines are so fat!? Aha x

HannahLouD · 04/04/2023 19:39

*lids, not kids ahahaha

SJVX · 04/04/2023 19:58

you have absolutely nothing to worry about, the last test is the darkest yet!!!! X
