We've been ttc for 4 months now and I know it can take healthy couples up to a year, but it's so easy to worry when it doesn't happen straight away! I started ovulation testing this month to see if I ovulated around when my app predicted (this month it seems to have been the day before).

Anyway my question is, do you think it looks right on the screenshot I attached? It's very much a blink and you miss it, most graphs I see have a few high readings before a peak, and my peak isn't darker than the control?
I test in morning early as unable to do any later on a weekday but keeping to same time each day.

It’s positive if it as dark as the control too. Mine were always fast like that, the peak doesn’t hang around long so you have to be testing at the right time.

Temping will confirm if the peak you’re seeing corresponds to ovulation. I temped and could feel ovulation too so there was never any doubt.

You’re likely missing the main peak as it’s best to not use fmu and test between 10am and 8pm. But you have enough information to know when you ovulate. Remember healthy couples who do everything right only have around a 20-25% chance of conceiving each cycle

@Pollywoddles - I believe I feel ovulation pain, as most months I get similar to period pains but only lasts a few hours which was always around the time of predicted ovulation. This month I also had the pain the morning after the peak. I just wasn't sure if that was enough of a peak, I see others who have the numbers high for longer before.

@Twoinapod - Yeah I wish I could do my morning after 10am but its not possible with work :(
I think I'm just worried as I have underactive thyroid (this has been managed for years and my levels are good now) but still can make it more difficult. Also irrational worry that fact both my younger sisters fell pregnant very easily, so feel I won't 😬
