Hi all so after TTC since October 2021 with one MC we have gone to a fertility clinic for answers. My partner has 1% or less than 1% normal sperm morphology all looks good with me so far even though my periods have changed significantly they don't seem worried , though they are going to run one more test to make sure there is no blockages in my fallopian tubes . The Dr advised that IUI has only a 10% success rate where as IVF has a 30%. I will be 36 soon and wondering if anyone has had experience with IUI or any advise ?

I wouldn't bother with IUI - the stats suggest you have to factor in 10 rounds of IUI to have the same chance at success as 1 round of IVF. If you are self funding I honestly wouldn't waste your money (or time when you are nearing 36)

And with less than 1% sperm morphology you'll be advised to do ICSI

I don’t understand the maths here!

@Whywere

Basically IUI has very low success rates
