Have I tested too early?

Hi,
First day of my period was 5th March and I normally have a 30 day cycle. I caved about an hour ago and tested. (30/03). I’ve set myself up for disappoint again haven’t I? Obviously, there’s nothing there. I don’t even feel pregnant so no idea why I did it. So annoyed with myself.

Just a vent really.

I’d hazard a guess you were possibly 10dpo based on your period and usual Cycle dates so definitely too early plus with it not being your FMU if there is hcg in there it will be weakened down by fluids you’ve had throughout the day. Wait a couple more days and test again with first morning urine! Good luck x (p.s I didn’t feel any different with both of my pregnancies until 6 weeks!)

@TTC0123 Thanks for the information. It’s something to cling onto at least. The amount wasted on tests is just ridiculous!

So I’m out this month again! Due AF today but no sign of it. Did a pregnancy test and big fat negative.

No positivity left.

There’s always positivity, even if it’s for next months cycle rather than this (AF isn’t here yet!) there’s always new things to try that’s what got me through each month I would make a plan and try something new each month AF came, the month I conceived I was taking supplements galore and trying every old wives tale going 😅 you WILL conceive x

@TTC0123 Thanks for the boost! How long did it take you? Does this mean that I should go and book a summer holiday this weekend haha. It’s so hard trying to look for other things to look forward to that aren’t having a baby!

It took 6 months so I know not long at all compared to a lot of people but funnily enough was the month I had the ‘oh whatever happens attitude’ yes book that holiday if you can!! All things that will make your soul happy! It’s really difficult I know my mental health got to an all time low but things can change instantly, hold on to hope xx

Yes it arrived yesterday. 2 days late. I’ve woke up in a positive mindset and have ordered Premom ovulation sticks and downloaded the app rather than just randomly going off an app that I found. This app seems to be more user Friendly to understand what’s actually going on. This period is quite painful though so not sure what that means? @LolaStanley1
