Pregnancy test lines not getting darker

Lily1990 · 30/03/2023 15:18

Hi all,
I got my positive at 9DPO but am worried that my lines aren’t getting darker in the last couple of days. The first image shows my tests from 9DPO to 15DPO with FMU on Easy @ Home - I’m worried as 13DPO to 15DPO seem the same colour. The second image shows my FRER from 13DPO and 15DPO, which seemed to get slightly lighter if anything. Scared that this is turning into a chemical. Does anyone else have experience with this?
thanks xx

They all look like good positives. Stop testing and just enjoy being pregnant.

That line progression looks fine to me! I wouldn't worry. Try to relax and I hope that you have a healthy and happy pregnancy

Your progression line seems fine. For your own sanity you need to stop testing

Twoinapod · 30/03/2023 20:52

Hcg only doubles every 48 ish hours. So testing more than every 48 hours won’t show you anything. I did frers at 11dpo and 14 DPO and mine got lighter. I’m now 10 weeks today and have seen baby on scan.
Your tests look really good, much darker than mine were. I’d really recommend stepping away from tests now, take it from me they will just cause you stress

Pregnancy tests give yes or no results. You can’t be more or less pregnant. Congratulations.

Thank you so much everyone for replying and reassuring me. @Twoinapod your story especially makes me feel better, -and congratulations on your pregnancy. I know I seem like/am a crazy tester! I wasn’t like this for my first pregnancy, but that ended in a MMC and I’ve since had 2 chemicals, and some spotting a few days ago, so pretty anxious this time. But fingers crossed it works out and I’ve been worrying about nothing!

Step away from testing :)
At this point I'd do a blood test if you're concerned but that's about it.... Enjoy your pregnancy, congratulations!!

Hey @Lily1990 did this pregnancy work out?

Lily1990 · 06/02/2025 18:52

@ALM2207 no it didn’t, it was a chemical unfortunately x
