Pill Withdrawal or Something Else?

I stopped the pill on the 19th when on holiday, I was also taking norethisterone which I also stopped on the 19th.

I had withdrawal bleed on Friday and Saturday which was medium flow and then Sunday was spotting and just pink when wiping yesterday.

I’ve felt exhausted since Friday and worst day was yesterday (like falling asleep at desk exhaustion), my boobs ache and feel heavy and my stomach feels bloated like I’m about to come on again and have done too many sit ups.

I tested yesterday as I felt very similar when I was pg with my one year old. That was BFN but I don’t think it’s an early test and don’t know what miu it is.

I doubt I am pregnant as I was on the pill and it took 2 years to conceive my one year old but what’s causing the sore boobs etc then? I don’t remember the pill withdrawal being this bad!

Do you mind me askin wat pill you were on? I was on desogestrel (zelleta) stopped it 21st feb an since then have experienced every preg symptom going yet every test is neg 🙈 i think it also gave me a false surge on a clear blue ov test. And so far i havent yet had any withdrawl bleed or period. No help to you sorry just saying i had every single symptom of pregnancy i would have bet my house on it. Maybe wait another 48 hours and test again with a frer if you arent sure xxx

@Freya8 I was on Cerazette which is also desogestrel based pill I think (they’ve tried to give me desogestrel as it’s cheaper before).

I was on it for 10 years before and don’t remember the withdrawal being rough/having lasting effects after withdrawal bleed.

I took 5 days to have withdrawal so maybe yours is coming soon.

confusing times! I’ll test on Friday if I’m feeling rough still. Have to DTD as well as due to potentially ovulate Monday as well!

Yeh see i thot amazing im gettin my static smiley like a week after stopping! And i am so so confused! Lol as well thats been an gone so i am now assuming my body tried to ovulate and didnt at that time but sure we relaxed so much after dtd nearly everyday so i think we missed the actual ov or else i just didnt at all! Yes i was on cerazette before they gave me this zelletta one. Awh its such a bloody mind f**k!!!! Im slowly goin insane!! Hope you get ur answers soon xxx

It’s likely your hormones rebalancing. All pregnancy symptoms are caused by hormones so it makes sense that hormones are causing your issues now, although not necessarily pregnancy ones.

@Redpanda21 fingers crossed for you! Well i skipped a whole period was wondering why i was getting copius amounts of cm the other day. Cheap ov tests were increasing decided to test with cb and 30th march night was blank circle as first time using it but the test stick was insanely dark. 31st march morn static straight away! So clearly the pill made me try an ov at start of march but it never happened. So id highly reccommend testing alot as i was just patiently waitin for a period lol xx
