I have pcos and ovulate later in my cycle between cd18-cd22 I generally have a 31-35 day cycle....

Cycle 20 for us this cycle

I won't be testing until 29th April.... that seems so far away 😂😂😂

Iwas very hit and miss with my BBT this month I'm going to make sure I'm on point with it this cycle and I'll be starting my OPKS from cd 16.

I've ordered some myo-inositol that I'm going to start from today and I've just ordered some preseed and we will DTD every other day from cd 14 upto cd 18 then every day till cd 24....

Well that's the plan anyways 😁

Hey @Bellabeemarie I’d love to join! Also CD1 here!

Also have PCOS and usually have a 29 day cycle, ovulating around CD15/16.
Last month for the first time, we used Preseed and I took inositol so doing that again. Also using CB OPKs and DTD everyday from CD11 usually.

So sorry to hear you’ve been trying for so long. This is cycle 37 for us, I’ve finished my letrozole I was offered and just need to lose the last few pounds to be eligible for NHS IVF - but fingers crossed it happens naturally before that!

Have you seen your GP as yet to see if you can get any help? Xxx

Bellabeemarie · 29/03/2023 07:46

@Luna0905 morning hun, oh I'm sorry to hear you have been ttc for so long also 😔

Yeah we're on the waiting list currently with the NHS....

My fiance needs to go for another SAT nx month

I'm definitely going to give the preseed a bash this cycle

The myo-inositol I take are in tablets and they make me gag when I take them they put me off talking them 😂😂😂😂

I'm CD4 today. I also am a likely candidate for PCOS but it's never been formally diagnosed. I also have a longer cycle averaging 30-35 days and tend to O anywhere from day 16 to 21 which is SOOO helpful 🙄

This is month 15 for us. We had two MMCs last year, both at nine weeks and this cycle is the last natural shot before IVF starts at beginning of my next cycle.

We have one son aged two who was a bit of a miracle after 1.5 years and being told we had no chance naturally.

I'm really sorry you're both still in the trenches after so long and I hope this is the lucky month for you both :)

NLO94x · 29/03/2023 17:00

Hey 👋

I've started taking myo-inositol this month! I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS officially but thats what it is looking like! TTC since Feb 22 and it feels like forever!! I'm also on the waiting list on the NHS, had my first appointment Oct 22 then my referral was sent Jan this year, can I ask how long you've been waiting for? 💛

mickey1121 · 29/03/2023 18:05

Hey!

I would love to join if that's ok😊

I'm CD1, the dreaded AF arrived this morning 2 days early which is really strange for me! Cycle is usually around 34-35 days. I usually ovulate on CD21 which means my luteal phase was shorter this month..

Sending everyone lots of luck for this April cycle x

TheBirdintheCave · 29/03/2023 18:28

How funny that we all ovulate later than average and are starting our cycles around the same time 😂

mickey1121 · 29/03/2023 18:44

@TheBirdintheCave I was thinking the same thing 😂 hopefully that's a good sign!

How are you feeling at the start of a new cycle x

Doodles18 · 29/03/2023 21:41

hello, would like to join also CD1 today , so hoping for loads of bfp 😊 baby dust to everyone.. been trying since last august since mmc at the end of July x

Bellabeemarie · 29/03/2023 22:06

Hey everyone ☺️

Lovely to have a few of us at roughly at the same point in our cycles and we should be only a few days apart in the 2ww also 😀

I've told myself it's going to be a stress free cycle this cycle 🙈

I tend to turn into a crazy woman in the 2ww but I REFUSE to be that woman this cycle 😂🤐

I'm definitely a early tester but I'm determined to not buy and tests and only buy one if AF is one day late 😕

Here's hoping we get some BFP on this threat would be lovely ❤️

TheBirdintheCave · 29/03/2023 22:52

@mickey1121 Ok :) You? It's our last shot before IVF so I'm not really expecting a miracle. Ever hopeful though even if I pretend I'm not 😅

Bellabeemarie · 30/03/2023 07:39

@TheBirdintheCave awww goodluck for this cycle, I've read so many woman fall pregnant the cycle before they are due to start Ivf!x

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 30/03/2023 08:19

@Bellabeemarie Thanks! It happened for us last time though so I think we've spent our share of miracles 😅 Plus with the recurrent miscarriage I unfortunately have less of a chance of actually getting a baby even if I get pregnant 😕

Goblet93 · 30/03/2023 12:48

Yes please! CD2 for me, usually ovulate CD20 ish on a 30+ day cycle. We are TTC #2

I’m really suffering this cycle with bad pain during my period. I’ve always had pretty bad pains but the last few months they’ve got worse. I’m starting to think I’ve got endo tbh but it’s not diagnosed and I’m put off with the length of time it can take to get there and I know women get fobbed off with this sort of thing all the time

Good luck to everyone x

Bellabeemarie · 30/03/2023 17:26

@Goblet93 there's a good few of us ☺️

I've thought maybe I may have endo too my period pains are quite intense cd1-cd3 I have to take pain killers for the full 3 days 🫤

I've got the gp nx week to have my bloods took again and book a app for my partners sperm analysis test then they need to do another referral to fertily clinic 😒😬

It's so drawn out but hopefully within the nx month or two we should have more steps forward than steps back!

Af should be gone tomorrow I'm looking forward to a relaxed month ttc this cycle 😁

mickey1121 · 30/03/2023 17:50

@Bellabeemarie I'm also hoping for a stress free cycle! I managed to hold off testing until 11dpo, only to be met by AF the next day! So going to try and not early test again, i do feel much more relaxed this cycle too 😊

@TheBirdintheCave sending you lots of luck for this cycle! Sorry to hear about your loss x

Bellabeemarie · 30/03/2023 17:57

@mickey1121 I drove myself absolutely bonkers symptom spotting from 5dpo and testing from 6dpo ( I've got a issue I know 🤭😂

I've not got any hpt in and I don't plan on buying one until 1st May if AF hasn't shown by then I'll either be 3 days late or day AF is due depending on if I have a 32 day cycle or 35 day cycle xxx

OP posts:
mickey1121 · 30/03/2023 19:13

@Bellabeemarie it's so hard to not symptom spot though isn't it and test too!! I had 2 indent on frers in my cycle before which was so disappointing so managed to hold testing .. which was hard! Haha 😂

I am due AF around 30th April so will and try hold off testing with you too!

TheBirdintheCave · 30/03/2023 22:59

@Bellabeemarie I have one 25miu test in the cupboard l so will be forced to wait until 12/13dpo to test. That's the plan at least 😂

Cinnamon23 · 31/03/2023 11:49

Hiya, I’d like to join please! I’m on CD7 so getting ready for this month’s SMEP. Fingers crossed!

Bellabeemarie · 31/03/2023 13:11

@mickey1121 I had terrible faint lines this cycle 😩😫

Yeah I'm trying to get as close to the 1st of April as I can 😂😂😂 I'm not convinced I'll make it tho 😅

@TheBirdintheCave I hope you manage to hold out hun, the struggles real 🤣

@Cinnamon23 heyyyyyyy 👋
Have you done SMEP before I think I'm gona give it a bash mays cycle x

Hope I can join too, I'm cycle day 6 (or maybe 5, period came mid afternoon, and I'm trying out a different way of counting that I saw online). There seems to be some people in similar situations to me, PCOS, been trying for 1year and 9 month. Periods were anywhere between 50-70 days and no ovulation, but I am on letrozole and currently have 27 day cycles like clockwork. That doesn't seem to have done the trick though and this is my last cycle on letrozole (hence the experiment of pretending day 2 is day 1 as a last ditch attempt to make it work)

I thought this summer I'd be able to start IVF as the nurse has said that would be the next step, but when I looked it up again I realised the NICE guidelines (2 years trying and then you get 2 cycles of IVF on the NHS) don't actually mean anything and in my medical care board area you can't get IVF until you've tried for 3 years (and then only one cycle funded). So quite stressed about the one last chance while I'm ovulating before the NHS gives up on me and puts me on yet another way too long mandatory wait before being allowed to have medical care.

TheBirdintheCave · 01/04/2023 08:27

@Omgdnswv Welcome! Yes this does seem to be the PCOS thread accidentally 😂 Wishing you so much luck for this cycle.

Three years is just utterly shit. Do they expect totally infertile couples to wait that long too? Is there no fast track system for people who have very limited chance at getting pregnant? That seems incredibly unfair otherwise. We were definitely fast tracked when trying for our son as it was discovered my husband's sperm motility was around 13% and we were told we'd never get pregnant naturally.

Bellabeemarie · 01/04/2023 10:23

Morning girls, cd5 for me I feel like my periods are changing recently

Usually I would spot for a day then full flow for 2 days then spot for a day and off by the end of cd4. Last cycle full flow come straight away then it was light for 3 days... this cycle it was light cd1 heavy cd2 light cd3 hardly anything yesterday but today cd I'm still really light I've not had a 5 day AF for god knows how long 😫 I just want sex 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

buckingmad · 01/04/2023 19:16

Cd1 for me! I had a miscarriage end of feb then a weird 38 day cycle where I ovulated around 3 weeks in. I already have a 20mo girl so I’m going to dig out my BBT thermometer this month and my OPK’s like I did when trying with her. Will also start wearing my Apple Watch again as I found watching my RHR interesting too.

I’ll start OPK’s once I stop bleeding in about 5 days. I usually ovulate around cd14-18 but don’t know if I’ll still be a bit weird post miscarriage so will just start early. So I’ll be testing end of April.

Bellabeemarie · 01/04/2023 20:41

@buckingmad hey hun, sorry to see you've had a mc, I had one after my 1st I was fortunate to get pregnant with my daughter before I even had my nx period... but I'm struggling so much now ttc again its all been so long...

Yh I'm determined not to test until 1st May xxx
