I have been getting positives since 10dpo. Today my 14 DPO test line looks very similair to yesterdays 13 DPO line and causing me anxiety 😥 has this happened to anyone else? I test with my first morning wee! X

I think it does look slightly stronger but even if it doesn't don't panic. Firstly all sorts of things can effect the level of hcg to produce various strength of lines. And also, the further into the pregnancy, the lines stop progressing and are just lines.
I know it's anxiety provoking but imagine if you hadn't being ttc and had just randomly missed a period and tested..a line would just be a line..try not to worry!

Thank you! I was surprised as the rest of the days it gets darker but todays hasn’t. I lost my baby at 17 weeks in last pregnancy and so I am extremely anxious this time round. Todays test was first wee of day and I didn’t go all night! Xx

Bless you..sorry to hear of your loss. Understandable that you will be anxious. Sending positive vibes for a happy and healthy pregnancy 😊

I completely understand as I had a miscarriage in January and am now once again pregnant. I called the GP straight away they got me in for a blood test to test my HCG and then to test again a week later. In this time I was trying to track my line progression but for three days the line barely progressed. This stressed me out so much so I decided to stop home testing however when I went for my second blood test I was doubling perfectly fine as I should have been.

Try not to worry too much!

I’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

You have a positive test but please know that pregnancy tests are not designed to measure progression, there’s too many variables.

If you are anxious, and I fully understand this having been in your shoes, then please get your hCG levels measured for reassurance. That’s the only way you’re going to know if everything is progressing properly at this stage. A pregnancy test cannot tell you that.

Thank you both for your replies. I have let the bottom test dry Abit more now. Would you say it’s darker than one above it ? X

@Lwheeler Yes that line is stronger and the line progression is looking good lovely!
That being said, please try not to hold too much stock and stress about line progression as PP said so many things can affect the strength of a line and cause so much unnecessary worry, trust me, I've been there!
Congratulations on the baby! When are you due?

Lwheeler · 27/03/2023 12:56

Hey thank you. So hard to stop myself testing 😥 so worried today can’t even eat! I will hopefully be due November xx

Oh I’m so happy for you. Really hoping I have the same outcome as I feel mine are progressing really slow.

did they ever get very dark ?

I wish I could just step away from the tests and try a clear blue at like 6 weeks or something. The daily anxiety I feel in these first days I wouldn’t wish on anyone 😔

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful little boy xx
