Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

Sorry to hear that @Kirstyddd but at least you can prepare for the next round - have you looked into SMEP?

@TTCing good idea re. testing after a year, for some reason my husband and I have held off doing the tests this time round - last tests showed hubby had really poor sperm morphology, motility and amount but then we got pregnant so didn't have to think about it anymore. Think we're going to get the tests sorted for after we come back from Scotland in May. Will you go private or nhs for your tests?

@Kirstyddd I can't actually give that much advice as we haven't tried it but I've heard a lot of positive stories on mumsnet so might be worth looking into 🙂

Sorry to hear af arrived @Kirstyddd. It never gets any easier does it. In regards to bbt, make sure you're taking it at roughly the same time each morning as soon as you wake before doing anything, including having a wee, going on your phone, leaving the bed etc. Your bbt will be lower in the first half of your cycle. To confirm ovulation - along side using opks - there needs to be at least three higher temps.
opks, do them in the afternoon until you believe that you're in your fertile window and then do them twice a day so you don't miss your peak. Ovulation is predicted to occur around 24-48 hours after the surge.

@Stillwinston samr here with us. We got pregnant just after we had the results about my husband’s fertility! So we never got chance to worry too much. But now it’s taking a while again, the stress begins to ramp up doesn’t it? We will go through the NHS initially as our GP has said he’ll happily order new fertility tests for us at the 12 month mark again.

But of course we know we won’t get any fertility help as we already have a child.

How about you? NHS or private? X

so my predicted due date is 17/12/23, my birthday is the 20th of December and my oldest’s is the 22nd of December and that’s not even taking Christmas in to account😳 going to be a very very expensive month from now on!!😂😂

@TTCing I think we're going to go private just to speed things up a bit tbh - ironic that I've left it over 2 years and am now fixated on how quickly we can get it done 😂 and I completely know what you mean about the worry increasing each month - especially when you know that you dtd at the right time and it's just not happening. Tbh I can't wait to being in the position to never having to think about getting pregnant ever again, it's just so blooming draining! X

On to month 9 of TTC. I just find it insane that I’ve spent 25 months of my life TTC and some people get pregnant within the first month or first 2-3 months every time! I know a lot of people (in real life) like that.

I’ve had another negative so I’m certain I’m out this month as I’m 11dpo now. I knew this month wasn’t my lucky month but I still feel really deflated. I feel my PMS symptoms are much more heightened than they were pre baby. I’m quite emotional, teary and
moody in the run up to AF these days.

Morning ladies.

So I'm 10 or 11 dpo today and did my first test. This came up pretty much straight away. Trying not to get excited because I've seen a lot about evap lines on other threads, what do you ladies think? I'm quite new to all of this.

@Baconbinge looks positive to me, congratulations, I’ve had lots of false positives with clearblue but the lines are always skinny! Your line is nice and thick x

My temps went up again could this be a good sign or is it normal. Also I have been waking up covered in sweat and my boobs have been sore but they usually get sore just before af and I still have 6 days to go.

I promised myself I wouldn't, but I couldn't help myself 🙈 Looks like it's confirmed, 3 different wees from this morning.

I also caved as I found a test in a draw. Nothing, not even a test line! I don’t recommend Boots tests!!

What cycle day is everyone on? My af is due in 4 days, thought I’d have at least a faint line by now if it was going to be positive this month, looks like I’m probably out x

@Mummy1502 I'm 9dpo period due in 6 days. What dpo are you do you have any symptoms?
