Ovulation date 25th or 26th March - TWW thread

Hi ladies, who would like to join a TWW thread. My ovulation date is today or tomorrow ❤️

Month 9 TTC baby number 2.

I have a 1 year old who took 16 months to conceive.

I’m 29 and my hubs is 31. We know my husband has a fertility issue so we’re aware it could well be a long road ahead. Not that it makes TTC any more bearable. Every month is depressing when AF arrives!

Would love to share in the TWW with some others!

How's everyone doing today? In addition to having covid I was stung by a wasp this morning so I'm a right state 😂 anybody having any promising symptoms?

8dpo today, tested this morning but bfn. Going to try again in a couple of days, not really noticing many symptoms other than being incredibly tired so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mummy1502 · 02/04/2023 06:31

@Stillwinston not feeling hopeful, don’t feel any different but then again I’m only 5/6 dpo I think x

Stillwinston · 02/04/2023 14:47

@Mummy1502 so much can change between 5dpo and 14dpo - will keep everything crossed for you 🤞 if it's any comfort I'm now 8dpo and have 0 symptoms so pretty certain I'm also out this month.

Mummy1502 · 02/04/2023 14:58

@Stillwinston good luck to you x

Bailem · 03/04/2023 11:08

I'm 8dpo today, feel absolutely normal but I know it can still be early days.

How is everyone else? The days are ticking by. x

Mummy1502 · 03/04/2023 11:13

Can anyone else see this line? I’m anywhere between 6-8dpo I didn’t track ovulation this month so only gone by symptoms x

@Mummy1502 I can actually see it. Was the photo taken within the correct time? I was burnt last month by searching for a line after the tike limit and stupidly got my hopes up 😔

@Bailem still very early for you. Some people haven't even implanted at that dpo so still keeping my fingers crossed.

Only 5 dpo for me so obviously no symptoms which is fine by me

TTCing · 03/04/2023 12:50

@Mummy1502 i can see a line! But does it have colour? It doesn’t look very pink in the picture. If it looks pink in the pink then I’m sending you a tentative congrats ❤️ Sadly, the only advice I can offer other than that is to test again tomorrow morning - which I know is so hard when you’re excited/nervous and expectant!

Hope everyone is okay? I’m 8dpo today and just generally feeling run down as I’ve had a cold for a week now! I am starting to imagine symptoms like cramping though! Probably AF on its way! I’m expecting AF in the next 3-5 days.

@TTCing @TTC53 yes was in the time frame, will wait and test again tomorrow as worried it may be an indent, it does have a pink colour in person x

Stillwinston · 03/04/2023 14:15

@Mummy1502 I can see something and am sending you tentative congratulations. However, it looks a bit like one of the infamous FRER indents that so many people seem to be getting recently - I had 2 of them last month and stupidly convinced myself that it was positive and was then crushed when AF came. Agree with pp that it's probably best to try another test in a day or so and hopefully the line will be stronger 🤞

Stillwinston · 03/04/2023 14:19

@TTCing I literally have 0 symptoms so am counting myself very much out this month. I thought AF had actually started this morning as I was super crampy but then it stopped so it's anyone's guess right now 🙄

Mummy1502 · 03/04/2023 14:39

@Stillwinston im going to grab either some boots early tests or my local pharmacy early tests today instead and test tomorrow morning, will update x

Stillwinston · 03/04/2023 15:36

@Mummy1502 good plan 👍 keep us updated x

Mummy1502 · 03/04/2023 16:26

@Stillwinston will do x

TTCing · 03/04/2023 19:59

@Stillwinston I feel the same! But when I was pregnant with my daughter, I don’t remember have any strong symptoms. Other than veiny boobs and they felt a big bigger than usual. I don’t feel that would apply so much this time as I’m still breastfeeding. But I think other than that, I’d have never known i was pregnant!

Hopefully if it’s not our month, AF will arrive quickly! X

@TTCing tbf I can't remember much about my first pregnancy and now I come to think about it I also had zero symptoms - I only did a test as we were due to start IVF that week and the consultant wanted me to confirm I wasn't pregnant 😂 will definitely keep everything crossed for all of us 🤞🤞

Bailem · 03/04/2023 21:05

@TTCing @Stillwinston I was thinking about my first pregnancy symptoms earlier today and I can't remember having any until my AF was due either. I was away and took some trousers that I literally couldn't get over my stomach, I was like 'Gosh I'm so bloated', then I was a little irritable/emotional before I took a test.

It's made me feel a little more relaxed about symptom spotting this month as all the symptoms I thought I'd had previously have been AF looming!

Mummy1502 · 04/04/2023 08:11

@Stillwinston pharmacy test defo negative this morning, FRER must have been a nasty indent x

TTCing · 04/04/2023 08:16

@Mummy1502 so sorry to hear this! Those indents are the worst for false hope. How many DPO are you now? There may still be time for a positive.

I’m 9dpo today and tested this morning (why did I cave so early?)… it was definitely negative.

@Bailem @Stillwinston when are you both expecting AF? I’m on cycle day 26 now. Typically my cycles are 28-30 days long. Occasionally 31 days long. They’re a bit more variable since I had my daughter and I am still breastfeeding twice a day and in the night if needed x

OP posts:
Mummy1502 · 04/04/2023 08:30

@TTCing i think only 7 dpo? That’s going by my previous cycles if I ovulated on cycle day 10, I’m cycle day 17 today x

Mummy1502 · 04/04/2023 08:32

@TTCing going by my ovulation symptoms I thought I may have ovulated earlier, my cycles are short only 22-24 days x

Stillwinston · 04/04/2023 08:43

@TTCing I'm 9/10dpo now so I'm expecting AF Friday or Saturday. I also took a FRER this morning and it's very negative! Although the logical part of my brain is telling me I'm out the emotional part is still clinging onto the hope 🙄

@Mummy1502 sorry to hear that lovely, the FRERs are awful right now. There's still a chance until AF shows so will keep my fingers crossed 🤞

Stillwinston · 04/04/2023 08:50

@Bailem isn't it funny though that even though we know that to be true, we still cling onto every "symptom" as evidence that it might be happening - this baby malarkey does funny things to the brain! The ironic thing is that before I had my son I wasn't even 100% convinced I wanted kids and told my husband that if the IVF didn't work then I'd be fine with it, now though I'm like a woman possessed 😂

Mummy1502 · 04/04/2023 08:51

@Stillwinston Thankyou, hope af stays away for you x

TTC53 · 04/04/2023 09:00

Oh @Mummy1502 I'm sorry to hear that it was an indent. You're still fairly early along DPO wise so there's still time.

@Stillwinston and @TTCing also sorry that yours is negative. I do think that the average time for implementation is between 8-10 days though. So to keep up the hope you not have even implanted yet for any hcg to be detected!!

Lovely to hear previous experiences of pregnancy and symptoms- or lack of in some cases! It's nuts but I've now started to feel despondent each month when i get 'symptoms ' as I've noticed they're the same each month. So I'm convinced that if I even get lucky enough for a bfp then I'll feel completely different. 6 dpo today and no symptoms so far. However my boobs start to get tender by 7 dpo so waiting with baited breath for tomorrow
