Shaking - is this a line?

I have PCOS and I'm currently on treatment, have been TTC #1 for 2 years. I need to request provera to start a new cycle and have to test to make sure I'm negative before doing so.

I just did a cheap test and I'm looking at 2 lines but trying to explain it away. I'm so used to negative tests that my mind won't allow me to accept any more false hope.

Please be honest and tell me of any reasons why this might not be positive. I'm actually shaking. It was taken using FMU and photo was taken within 3 minute timeframe. I did wee directly on the test, is it unreliable that way? Maybe I should have collected the sample instead.

I can definitely see something 🙂 weeing directly on the test is fine. Why don’t you get a FRER and collect the sample in a cup to test. It doesn’t needs to be FMU

That's a positive OP. Do another test if you want confirmation but allow yourself to be happy x

Oh I can understand why you are shaking.

It looks like a positive to me and none of those things you say are reasons it would be a false positive but I know in your shoes I'd want to take (at least) one more other brand of test to actually believe it.

Get a different type of test just to double check for your own peace of mind. (I couldn’t trust it until I had done 2 or 3!).

I will get some FRER as suggested today and do another tonight and in the morning. I really, truly hope this means my time has finally come and wish the same for any of you who are also TTC x

I was you ten years ago. It wasn't happening for us. I felt a bit off one night and took a test. I couldn't believe it when it was positive.

Looks like a positive. Ive always done a digital to see the words pregnant to confirm it after my positives. Congratulations

You said be honest so I will, I had an evap. Line that looked just like that.

It might be an early pg line, it might not. You’ll have to test again to see if the line is getting stronger.
