How accurate are the pound strips?

Defo line from the strips from Home Bargains.

I think I've done these tests before and they were negative.....

I had sex 11 days ago, I was fertile.

I always used the pound strips can't fault them

I found them very accurate. These are the 3 I used in my first pregnancy. Taken a few days apart.

Below is just water

I can see a line in your first one. Wait 2 days and do another one first thing in the morning.

The below one is just with water.... so I assume the strips aren't faulty?

How many days DPO?

I found them awful but only because they never showed a positive for me even when I got dye stealers on other tests, stark negative on them

So weird right!

I got some of them yesterday, 2 showed almost nothing and one showed nothing, using same sample did a digital and got positive 2-3 weeks! I've been using boots strip tests that are like 2.40 for 5 and they've been great.

I can't remember as they were almost 4 years ago, but the first one was around 14 DPO and the 3rd one must have been around 18 DPO. I also did a FRER at 14 DPO and got a very faint line on that too. So I think these tests were accurate. I used these in my 2nd pregnancy and didn't bother with a FRER at all, it showed a dark line straight away, although I dont know how many DPO I was. I was probably around 6/7 weeks when I found out.

They are exactly the same as ones used in nhs. They are fine

What is frer?

First Response Early Result tests. They are meant to give you an accurate result before your period is due but in my experience any pink dye test is the same.

I used two pound strip ones the other weekend and got two lines on both of them (faint but there) and then on Wednesday I got my period 🙄 albeit a very short 2 day period and 9 days late but it gave me hope and then took it away 🥺

Well this is the confusing thing I was due my period around the 14th March as I usually have 28 day cycles so tested like after i was 5 days late I think and got those two lines then again the next day and same thing happened but then AF showed up at 9 days late. Last month I was late too by 10 days but didn't even have a sniff of a positive. Who knows 🤷‍♀️
