Bit of background - had a baby in April last year, been off the pill since December using cycle tracking and condoms as contraception (we are wanting to TTC in the next few months or so). Normally I ovulate on day 15/16 of my cycle and it has never been any day other than that. We were away for the weekend, forgot to take condoms and got carried away and so had unprotected sex on day 11 of my cycle. We figured it was risky but with 4/5 days to go til ovulation then falling pregnant would be unlikely but if it happened it would be a happy accident so to speak. Typically for some odd reason my body decided to ovulate early this month and it will have been either day 13 or 14! This has never happened to me before and wondering if anyone has any experiences to share, or any idea of why early ovulation can occur? Thank you!
