Best app to track bbt?

I’ve been using the Flo app to track my cycles, but it’s predictions are mostly wrong and it doesn’t support bbt tracking.

I want to start tracking my bbt and was wondering what app people recommend? Happy to pay a subscription as I’ll be cancelling my Flo subscription.

Fertility Friend, without a doubt. It seems so much more responsive to data than PreMom, say, and AF always arrives when predicted despite me having slightly wonky cycles

Thank you @curliegirlie will download now.

Definitely Fertility Friend!

Natural cycles.

I used it for contraception between my pregnancies and then for fertility tracking when ready. They pause your subscription (or at least they did) if you get pregnant so you can chart your pregnancy for free.

I was really pleased with it. Not least because it got my DD birth date spot on lol.

do you check bbt through the whole cycle?

Yes for a good few months at least. It allows you and your app to know your body. It's not uncommon to have more than one gear up to ovulation. Once you've seen how your body works you can stop after ovulation if you want.

BBT can give an early indication of conception / period though as well. Essentially your BBT will either drop (period) or rise (conception)

@Twizbe Thanks I was thinking of trying bbt this cycle. I got a pretty good hang of how my cycles work now and I don't use ovulation tests as they're expensive where I live so I was thinking of this to confirm ovulation

I use Flo and enter my BBT, and it adds cover line to identify ovulation. Might be worth checking you have that ‘symptom’ added to your options in the settings?

it works well but I also use premom as I like using the overlay feature to compare my chart to last months.

I’d recommend actually ignoring most of the predictions these apps give you and just see them as tracking devices to log your OPKs and BBT, and use your own judgement to then determine when things are happening. it’s taken Flo and Premom 6 months to recognise I don’t have a 14 day luteal phase, they’re a bit more accurate now but when compared they give different ov and AF predictions by a day or so. They just go off community data to start with, and then your averages after a few months.

changed my mind - just downloaded fertility friend and the chart output is FAR better! Evening task will be transferring all my data for past cycles in to it 😂
