Opk and ovulation

Hi,

My app shows that ovulation is today. For the past 2 days I've been getting positive opk sticks. Tested again today and the same. Does this mean ovulation isn't today and will take place in the next 24 hours or so?

I usually get ovulation pains which started early hours this morning as well as EWCM during my fertile window.

I have attached a photo below of today's OPK stick. Taken a couple of hours ago.

Mine used to do this but I think ovulation is 24-48 hours after the surge if it continues to be positive it’s just the end of it.
are you temping to confirm ovulation?

Hi @Led9519, I've never actually done my temp to confirm ovulation if I'm honest. Just usually use go by the EWCM which is usually present duing my fertile window and ovulation pains as a guide. My cycle is usually 28days long and the pain is usually bang on day 13/14.

I dont think that is positive yet. The first line doesn't look darker than the second... close though!

Thanks@Mumma. Did another earlier and the test line is much lighter than the control line.

Just me again with another question.

My period arrived 1 day early which isn't out of the ordinary for me. I'm usually bang in 28 days or one day either side.

I started mid afternoon on Saturday which was really heavy and today it is tailing off. I woke up feeling really nauseous with a splitting headache and metallic taste in mouth after eating.

I don't know what convinced me to, but I've taken a test using opk sticks as I have no home test at present. Does this look like a positive to you? If so, just wondering why I'd have a positive during my cycle.

LH goes up just before AF. But nothing wrong with doing a pregnancy test to ev sure

Your LH varies throughout your cycle and does tend to rise before as. I’d do a test just to make sure though

My LH rests got dark just before AF and positive throughout AF then dark for a day or two after AF then go very faint until ovulation time

No harm in doing a test though. Any pregnancy test should show a decent positive if you are over 14dpo so would t need an expensive frer
