Resting heart rate chart

Hello!

I have seen a few threads about resting heart rate as an indication for pregnancy. I can't find those threads now hence this post. I probably clutching at straws but period due today and my heart rate is just going up? (Not massively but it's up) It usually drops a few days before my period is due. Thoughts?

This definitely happened to me when I was pregnant with my son! I had no idea it was an indicator of pregnancy. Keep an eye on it and fingers crossed :)

Hi OP, this happened to me in both pregnancies. My resting heart rate increased about 8-10 bpm from conception and didn't return to normal until I'd given birth.

I've also been keeping an eye on mine. I was pregnant in November and it steadily increased, then a big fall on the day I tested positive for Covid (around 6 weeks) and it continued to fall. When I had a scan 2 weeks later it was confirmed that there was no viable pregnancy. I'm certain Covid caused my pregnancy loss. So please avoid getting sick!

Last month was convinced I was pregnant, heart rate trending up, no period, but then it fell quite significantly and my period came that day (day 33 of cycle- not really sure how many days my cycle is anymore since my pregnancy loss).

But lots of things can cause resting heart rate to fluctuate, including illness, so it's not a super reliable indicator. Fingers crossed for you though!
