Ttc after miscarriage

Had a 7 week loss and the only thing I can think about is my next cycle. I think I'm on the tail end of the bleeding. Just wondering how long after miscarriage bleeding ended did you ovulate?

I don't know if my experience will help as I had an (unwanted) abortion. But I bled solidly for 5 weeks (including AF), bled on and off for 3 weeks, had AF. Then ovulated around 1.5 weeks after that.

So I bled for 8 weeks, and 1.5 weeks after I ovulated.

It's easier said than done but try not to focus so hard on your next cycle, you may successfully conceive or your body may simply not be ready ❤

Hiya, I had a termination at 19 weeks on 1/2/23 and have just got my first positive ovulation. My bleeding was for 5 days and then I had a very light period 2/3 march xx

Sorry for your loss 💛. After my 7 week miscarriage I ovulated bang on time when I normally would after bleeding stopped. My 4-5 week ones I always ovulated about a week late.

@redo18 had a 8 week loss end of feb, after the bleeding stopped I ovulated 12 days later; so around the same time if I'd classed the MC bleeding as a period

12-14 days after the beginning of the new cycle - confirmed with opk and a sustained temp shift - currently in the TWW as we started trying again right away

I know everyone is different but these forums are full of people who either caught again before their next period, or quickly after, and then those who it took months to get back to normal....

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing love the user name very relatable! Did you go on to have a healthy pregnancy after your MC? (only if you're comfortable answering)

For me it was earlier than I expected, just a few days after the bleeding stopped according to my ovulation tests. I bled for 3 weeks after my loss at 12 weeks.

So sorry for your loss. I had a late miscarriage in November, at 17 weeks. I had a relatively short bleed after, just 8 days. Then I ovulated on day 26 of that cycle, so around 2 and a half weeks after the bleeding stopped.
I had such an urge to be pregnant again immediately so can totally relate to just planning and overthinking the cycles. It's not gotten much easier to be honest. Hoping you ovulate sooner rather than later x

I know this doesn't really count as a miscarriage but I had an early loss last month (was only 5 weeks) and I ovulated 4/5 days later than usual this month.

new to mumsnet.
had a MMc last week so feel you! I was supposed to be 10 weeks but baby was 7w4d on the scan. I had started to bleed the day before and lost the baby in the toilet waiting for an internal scan.
i’m just 43 and so sad as i keep thinking time is running out. I’m blessed to have 3 beautiful children the youngest I had at 37 but so wanted a child with this partner who I love so much. We were leaving it to fate (didn’t actively try because of my age and the disappointment but I had my coil removed) and a year later, we were so excited. I’m going through a messy divorce to a complete narcissist still, after 18 months, so I don’t think that stress helped.
I’ve never had trouble with fertility or had a MC before. Now this has happened I’m obsessed with trying again but there was still tissue left a few days ago and they have said not to have unprotected sex until I get a negative test. Now I’m stressing it was a molar pregnancy and something else is wrong.
