2WW AF due 29th March

Anyone want to join me in the 2WW?

I think I ovulated yesterday. I had been using the clearblue digital ovulation tests, but ran out of test sticks on Tuesday, which is typical! I did have EWCM Monday until yesterday and this morning it seems to have turned sticky. I also got pains in my left lower belly yesterday, so the signs all point to yesterday as ovulation day.

Unfortunately we didn't dtd yesterday as me and DH both have covid... last time we dtd was Sunday night, so I'm already at a disadvantage this month, but still hoping, and I'll still be getting excited about everything little twinge or symptom that I feel over the next 2 weeks!

This is my 4th cycle TTC, we already have DD who's 14 months. Fingers crossed and baby dust everywhere!

@Polkadotfloral is it normal for you to bleed before AF?

I’m doing ok but time seems to be a standstill! I’m only 6 DPO and already thinking about testing, I won’t just yet obviously. Trying to hold out until at least Friday when I’ll be 10 DPO.

I was ill this month so didn’t ovulate until CD22 which making this cycle go super slow!

@Angelselevenx @kalixxx I have had some spotting before AF during my last two cycles (I only came off the pill right at the end of December 2022 so this is my third cycle TTC).

I'm going to be so upset if it hasn't happened this month. 🙁

@Polkadotfloral came off HBC in December as well but had January as a month just to get my cycles back on track so this month will be month 2. When is AF due?

@Polkadotfloral I definitely wouldn’t count yourself out, I don’t think it’s too early for implantation bleeding!

This my 3rd cycle TTC too! We tried a the conception cup Ferti-Lily this month, hoping that will have done it! X

I think AF is due on either 23rd or 24th, last month it came at 12dpo after a couple of days of spotting.

@Polkadotfloral don't count yourself out yet - I've read it can be between 6-12 DPO! Fingers crossed for you!

Hope everyone else on tww is going okay, after not knowing what's going on with me I have one app saying I'm 1DPO and another saying tomorrow will be 1DPO so I'm already v impatient!!

Hello everyone, is it okay to hop on? AF not due till 27th I’m on a 34 day cycle usually, last period started 22nd of feb, I’ve tested yesterday and today and they’re positive, how’s this possible?

@Angelselevenx using ovulation tests and BBT tracking too - I caught peak test on sat afternoon as I was testing a few times a day! My BBT is typically really low (high 35) but since Friday had gone over 35 and today 36.2 which the Premom app said confirmed ovulation of yesterday but the Natural Cycles app says today!

@Angelselevenx 7 months exact month we got pregnant last time last year, baby didn’t make it past 18 weeks, so I’m hoping bean is a sticky one 🤞🏻❤️

My app suggest ovulation is tomorrow but I’ve have really low LH tests today that have been getting progressively lower (stark white now). I think I’ve missed ovulation yesterday. Bit annoying because I’m not sure we have DTD enough now 😩 but AF is due on 31st March. This is our first proper month TTC but I’ve been taking folic acid and waiting round for a few months we have a 2 year old.

@bringmearainbow another question as I've just done another ovulation test haha, if I have high LH for say today and tomorrow, what does that mean? Does that mean I don't ovulate until the surge has reduced?

I've had some more spotting today (hardly any in my underwear but when I wipe after going to the loo) so I think it's not going to happen for me this month. The last two cycles I had two days of spotting before AF so I think that's what this is. 💔I feel completely heartbroken as I really thought we'd managed it this cycle - we dtd 6 times during my 7 day fertile window (4 out of the 5 days leading up to ovulation, then again on the day of ovulation and the day after).

What's also worrying me is that if I am due AF tomorrow, my luteal phase was only 9 days this cycle. Last cycle my luteal phase was 10 days which I was also a little bit worried about but now I'm starting to feel panicked that this is just never going to happen for me.

Feel so awful and beaten down at the moment. My sister fell immediately with both of hers and I'm now heading in to my 4th cycle ttc my first. I know it's still early days in the grand scheme of things but when your only frame of reference (as none of my friends are ttc or have children of their own yet) is someone who has had such a straightforward experience, it feels so incredibly lonely.

I was so hoping I'd be holding a baby this Christmas but I guess it's not going to happen. 😭

I'm so sorry @Polkadotfloral it must be so disheartening. There's always next month, but I know that you don't really want to hear that.

I'm 3dpo and I've been feeling "tingling" in my pelvic bowl for the last couple of days. I'm hoping that this is my womb building a super thick and strong lining ready to receive an egg. Such a strange feeling though- low down, right at the front, I just feel fizzy... is this a thing or has TTC sent me mad!

@Pitstop1986 thank you, that's really kind. Weirdly it seems to have stopped again now. I just wish my body would make it easier for me by either committing to having AF or just not doing anything! Spotting just sends me into a spiral. 🙁Going to wait it out but try not to hope too much or get too down. So much easier said than done!

@Polkadotfloral have you done a pg test yet, or are you waiting for AF? There is a possibility that it could be implantation bleeding.

My body has really been winding me up the last few months since ttc... I've had spotting, late ovulation, pms symptoms that I've never had before. It really is confusing and frustrating, so I can totally empathise with you.

I heard a mantra once- let it flow or let it grow. As in, let AF come or let the baby grow. It's meant to leave the pregnancy or AF up to fate, and thus reduce stress of the situation. I'm not sure if it works, but if you are into meditation or breathing exercises, maybe just take a few minutes to relax and say this to yourself a few times

@Polkadotfloral it took me 6 cycles to conceive my first. She was conceived at the start of April and was born 21st December. Don’t give up! You could still have your 2023 baby!

@Pitstop1986 My periods and symptoms have gone all over the place since TTC too! I was super regular until we started trying and now my body's like, "I'm gonna eff with you /now/." I've been having cramps the last four or five days (AF due 26 Mar) and weird tingles today, too. BFN this morning (had a GP call about the irregular periods so wanted to test before just in case) but still early days so we'll see.
