Pubic bone feeling bruised?!

Hi everyone x

my periods are really irregular following mc last nov and have had noticeable ov pains since too. on cycle day 25 now. 15/16dpo. Before mc periods were regular 24/5 days.

For the past few days I’ve had what I can only describe as a bruised and dull aching feeling on the right side of my pubic bone which is constant. I had period type cramps 2 days ago which then stopped, period didn’t come. I feel ‘heavy’ down there. Last night I had shooting pains up my vagina & felt like a needle was going into wall of vagina, both only lasted a few seconds (sorry for tmi) DP & I using condoms as not going to TTC until next year when we will be ready to. None have split as far as I’m aware but I understand that no contraception is 100%.

has anyone experienced anything like this? Whether it be before a normal period, or early pregnancy? I’m just trying to consider every possibility.

im quite worried about this. Have contacted gp about irregular periods/ov pain but they just don’t get back to me 🤷🏼‍♀️

thanks for any advice x

Sounds like groin strain if you're young. I get it with arthritis, horrible

Also forgot to mention that today I’ve had some very, very light brown spotting. And not a lot at all.

Thank you for your comment that’s very helpful, I’ll have a look into that. Hope you’re okay and it doesn’t give you too much trouble often x

Write an email to your practice explaining what has occurred since November, add these new symptoms. You know something is amiss. Say after four months you really need to see the nurse at the very least

I get this regularly but it isn't anything to do with pregnancy, it's pubic symphysis inflammation. I get it because I have hypermobility syndrome. Hormones make my symptoms worse, particularly progesterone peaks in my cycle. I didn't start experiencing severe symptoms until after pregnancy, although I have had the condition my whole life. Just something for you to consider.

@Sophlovescats How are you now? I’m experiencing exactly what you say above! Just wondering if you found any solutions?
