Ovulation pains all day

I’m convinced I’m ovulating today, I’ve had a peak on my lh tests and had rumblings of pain today. But all day?! What is going on? Last month it woke me in the middle of the night bd I knew that’s what it was for about 20 mins then I went back to sleep. Today I’m thinking has it happened yet, is the egg pushing? Is it something else completely? So confused.

I had this almost all day on Monday. No idea why it's worse some months than not though

I usually get a few mild aches the day after ovulation lasting a couple of hours. However this month I also had an entire day of pains, even the next morning I felt a bit sore. I had a peak OPK on the same day too, which would usually indicate ovulation the following day but based on the pains it must have happened that day.
I also don't know why it would randomly be more painful on certain cycles!

I have had my appendix out and that can make the pains worse apparently due to scare tissue. I find the pain much worse on that side

Ahhh that makes sense I had mine out too!

@T4Opal ah that might explain it then! I remember when I was about 15 was in so much pain I was convinced it had grown back until my mother said what the pain was

I had the worst ovulation pains today for mostly of the day, never felt them like that before. I was taking letrozole this month but have taken before and never felt them like this. Weird how it happens some months! Xx
