Ovulating after chemical

Hi, I was just wondering when people ovulated after their chemical?
We are going to go for it straight away I think and try again. Did you find it was like a normal cycle and you ovulated half way through-ish?
My bleeding has stopped and I'm on day 9 now of my cycle. I usually ovulate between days 15-17 and was wondering what the liklihood of this would be?

So sorry for your loss @Proudmummy67. I had a chemical in Jan and I found I ovulated a couple of days later than normal. Hope that things get back to normal for you soon and that you’re as okay as you can be 🌸xx

Hi @Proudmummy67 sorry to hear this and I completely understand as I had a chemical in February.

But yes I ovulated as normal and we conceived straight away again this cycle, currently at 4 weeks + 1.

Sending all the best x

Hi OP,

Sorry for your loss!

I had a chemical on January 4th, conceived immediately after and I’m 10 weeks today according to an early scan last week! So, I must have ovulated between day 11 and 14, which would be a little early for me.

Just make sure you DTD plenty over the few days around when you normally ovulate to give yourself the best chance.

Good luck x

Hi @Proudmummy67,

So sorry to hear of your loss, I've also just experienced a chemical this month so can completely empathise. I just wondered what you're counting as your first cycle day? I started bleeding on Friday so would that be CD1? I'm also keen to try straight again but do feel a bit nervous with it xx

Thank you @Proudmummy67. I’ve taken my 3rd cycle of letrozole this month so fingers crossed for this time. Good luck and baby dust to all xxx

Following with interest, I had a chemical last month and currently on CD 13. I have also had previous chemical/ early miscarriages when I was ttc No.1 and I remember Ovulation being a bit delayed but only a few days. Hoping its the same this time. Best of luck!

JJ2023 · 13/03/2023 20:02

Hi @PennyPenny1 just thought I’d say I counted the first day of bleeding from my chemical as CD1, so yes I would say Friday was CD1 for you. Sorry to hear you’re going through this x

Hope you are feeling ok OP. I ov'd about 2 days later than usual after my CP, but my ov date varies slightly anyway. I didn't conceive that cycle but did the following & went on to have a healthy, successful pregnancy. Don't lose hope🤞🏼
