LH rising again after peak

I’m so confused this month as usually as I have one clear peak. This month I seemed to peak (0.92) on cd 12 which is v early for me, and then I had a drop but now LH is rising again! If I ovulated as predicted by my app on cd 13 and not later the Id be 5dpo now and on cd18. I’m so lost! Anyone else have this happen? I’m having a lot of cramps in my stomach too and weird leg pain. My stomach feels ‘heavy’ so but worried I may have a UTI or a cyst causing issues (I know I have a large cyst on my right side where the pains are)

Sometimes your body can gear up to ovulate several times in a cycle before it actually does. So you may not have ovulated yet.

You have either not ovulated yet, are pregnant, or the test is wrong. OPK only look for the surge; they don’t confirm ovulation.

@TheSnowyOwl really hoping it means I’m pregnant but trying to not get my hopes up! Will try to DTD every other day just incase my earlier peak actually wasn’t one. Lesson learned to stick to clear blue OPKs next month.

@Twoinapod how fascinating!! Wish I didn’t assume it happened cd12 now as we stopped trying on cd 13 and I’m worried I missed my ‘true peak’

It's possible it's picked up on a surge twice as your LH can fluctuate throughout your cycle.
Your body can try to ovulate but failing to do so it might go again . It's also possible lh can stay elevated when in fact it's detected hcg which was the case for me . The tests aren't 100% accurate at detecting when your ovulating. You can miss your true peak or they can just be completely wrong all together. You can surge and attempt to ovulate but sometimes your body dosent push the egg out aswell. Do you use any other methods of checking for ovulation

@MK85 I don’t use any other methods just OPKs and trying to look out for cervical mucus (tho I don’t get a lot), but I had my cd 3 bloods done and everything seemed in range so fingers crossed I am ovulating
