Longer cycles TTC. Advice?

Hi!

Has anyone had irregular cycles since trying to conceive?
I've always been 28 days but since trying for my second I've gone to a 42 day cycle the last three months.

I have a drs appointment to make sure I'm ovulating etc but can this happen?

I have longer cycles (I do have PCOS though) and I was finding I ovulated around days 21-25. I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with my first & I think when I look back I ovulated as late as day 27 so yes you can still ovulate on longer cycles x

Possibly stress down to trying? I'm not sure though but I think speaking to your Dr might be a good idea like you said, especially if you've always been regular.

I also have long and irregular cycles, generally between 35 and 45 days. I have a 2 year old and ovulated around CD19 when I conceived him, this cycle I didn't get my peak until CD25 so it varies a lot.

I do think sometimes stress can have an impact as the above poster said but agree if yours have changed might be worth checking out to put your mind at ease if nothing else.

I fully agree with Daisy0909, and stress might be one of the reasons. It's best to speak with your doc and check if there are any underlying issues.

I was always regular, 31 days, ovulating on CD 17/18 but last month I ovulated on CD 30 (ish) and had a 44 day cycle and this month I am on CD 18 and not even a hint of ewcm (I usually get a good amount for 3/4 days, starting 3 days before ovulation)

I have no idea what's going on! My clearblue digital has given me a flashing smiley for the last 3 days and I thought that ewcm would follow. TTC is a minefield!
