Dtd timing

Trying again this month and panicking about timing
Had negative opk over the weekend
Oh only here this weekend so dtd on Saturday afternoon around 1.30
Then this morning Tuesday with fmu at 7 am I had a positive opk (went from blank circle to solid smiley in one day-no flashing, and also a cheapie showed a positive opk too)
I then noticed ewcm today.
Do you think we dtd too early? My oh is away until Friday

I wouldn't say it's impossible as sperm can live for 5 days. Depends if you ovulate close to your peak i.e 12 hours so later today or if it's nearer 24 to 36 (from reading it can take some people longer).

In future if he is only there on the weekend maybe Sunday night would not the time to go for if possible?

I dtd the day before my ovulation day and have fallen pregnant this cycle.
I've been using the app glow to input my periods and it's been successful both times

It's so hard to know when I ovulated because my cm is also going between being ewcm and then being more creamy
I do use glow which is great! But it said I was ovulating the wrong time last month weirdly and then said this month would be Friday but then I got the positive opk today! So I'm really confused! I was reading sperm can live up to 5 days but now doubting this theory as also read otherwise!

@brummieyummymummy I think ovulation can vary slightly each month. Last month I would say I ovulated day 15/16 had long LH surge. This month used premom app and surge was very short showing ovulation for tomorrow day 14 and lines up with my sticks and ovulation pains etc x

weirdly looks like my cm is going creamy now.
last 2 months, i dtd on the day of peak, and the day after. and both times, it didnt work.... so i am wondering if there is a chance that because i test once a day at 8 am, when i get my peak, ive actually ovulated teh day before eg in the afternoon?! i just dont undersatnd why my peaks are so short?

Potentially. My premom app said 65% of people have a surge of 1 to 2 days and the rest can be 3 to 4 days. If you don't already use the easy @home sticks and premom app would recommend. I didn't use that app last month and I think I missed it as sticks were dark for so long x

My opk still looks positive and I woke up with big lower abdominal pain but my cm is turning creamy
Would that mean I likely ovulated yesterday!??
That was my peak day on the digital opk
And if we dtd Saturday afternoon would we be too early for it if i ovulated yesterday? It's so hard to
Know! And I want to drink pints of coffee as I've not been sleepjng but don't want to if I have a chance
