12DPO today, AF Isn’t due for a few days.. have had several faint positives on different brands and AF has just came.. absolutely heart broken. Will not be trying next month as I don’t want a Christmas baby and I just feel like I want to give up 😭

I’m so sorry 😥 but what is wrong with a Christmas baby? I am biased because I had a Christmas baby and it’s a truly magical time to have a baby.

Why would it matter what month your baby is born? Surely a healthy baby is most important? You could plan the month you child should be born but they could be born early or late.

Mostly money reasons! I’ve got a few birthdays around Christmas and I always end up stressing about money for presents 😭 I’ve been trying for almost a year now, got pregnant in September but had an MC in December.. so this is only cycle 2 after MC

Oh I’m fully aware they could be early or late, my first was 3 weeks early… and obviously a healthy baby is the most important thing but when I’m actively trying to conceive I can make the decision if I want to try for a Christmas baby or not. And I know that having a baby around Christmas would put a lot of stress on me financially so if that’s something I can avoid I will. Just my personal opinion..

Are you sure it’s definitely af? Some people get heavy implantation bleeds. If you’ve had positives and af is early it could be a chemical. I totally get not wanting a Christmas baby. I’m due October but if I hadn’t have caught then I’d have waited several months as I didn’t want a baby born November to February due to a lot of birthdays and Christmas already during that time.

I don’t blame you op, I don’t want to have a Christmas baby either if I can help it. I’m going to try every single month anyway- my family has history of early babies and you can’t choose but it wouldn’t be something I’d choose.
