7 DPO - driving myself crazy!

Hello all.

So I know 7 DPO is way too early to notice anything. However, I am experiencing sharp pains on my left side, the same side I ovulated on. They are different to anything I usually experience, little sharp intermittent twinges. Also (TMI warning) I have thick, slightly yellow discharge, the point that there is some in my knickers which I diidn't usually see.

I'm definitely symptom spotting! But anyone who has experienced similar might let me know, I'm not getting my hopes up as I know it's not likely to be indicative of anything.

I'm 7dpo and I'm going mad!
I did take a test this morning, only because once I've done one, I then don't think about the "if" until the following day.
I symptom spotted the last few months. The first month I was adamant that I was pregnant, I would have put money on if, and I wasn't. I think if you focus on a symptom it gets stronger in the mind x

I'm not symptom spotting but very in touch with my body so when something appears I do get curious 😂 but I try not to let it take over my thoughts (very hard)

But like you I'm 7DPO and yesterday I had some sharp pains in my right side and then this morning I've woken up (incredibly early 😭) to sharp stabbing pains in my right side again.
Also since ovulation I've had the worst cold ever, still can't shake it off now. I have a very good immune system and it's rare that I catch these sorts of things so could definitely be an early sign as I did read it on some forums.

You're totally right, I could have these little twinges every month and not realise but I am fixated on them now. Totally understand what you mean about testing, I'm doing my very best to hold off, if I could get to 9 DPO I'd be glad but I'm not sure I will!.

I have heard that too! Fingers crossed for you🤞 sounds like we have the same type of pains. I wish I knew what they were, it seems too early for implantation, I've been feeling them rumbling around in there since Saturday.

How long are you TTC? X

I'm 6/7dpo today and last two cycles I've had so many symptoms but alas tests were negative. I do think we drive ourself mad in the tww and notice everything we probably wouldn't have before it doesn't ever stop us from doing it though 😂 this cycle I haven't had anything yet other than sore boobs

7DPO isn't too early to notice anything, I got positive tests at 8DPO with all my children

Hi! 🙂 I am 6dpo today, have found it's impossible not to symptom spot every cycle. I also have had different cm for this time in my cycle (ewcm yesterday) trying not to think about it every second of everyday is impossible isn't it.

I will prob test on 9dpo (Friday) and drive myself crazy for the next few days until AF. When are others testing or is anyone patiently going to wait until AF is due?

I had a positive test at 7dpo and again at 8dpo. What made me test was a random cold out of nowhere! I felt rough and was the only one in the house with it. I'm now 8 weeks pregnant. Good luck testing x

@Sunnymummy3 I'm def normally a serial tester but this cycle I'm going to just hold out for AF which is due Sat/sun as I'm pretty certain I'm already out DH went away and i ovulated right at the end of the sperm survival days 🙄 I do have a shiny new box of ic though so I might torture myself for no reason in a couple of days 😂

@bringmearainbow how inconsiderate of dh to be away at the prime time 😄
It will prob be alot less stressful to just wait for AF instead of staring at tests for 10 minutes realising it's defo negative and binning it then taking it back out later just to double check it
... or is that just me 😂

@Sunnymummy3 I know it was very inconsiderate wasn't it 😂 no no that's not just you that does that 🙊 isn't that the what we're meant to do 😆 pretty sure I've talked myself into doing a couple of tests this week just for the fun of looking at a nice indent or two gotta keep my line eyes in check

I can feel the lightest of cramps now this evening, it could be the spinach and pasta I had for dinner but I will hope it's something else.

@LBttc have you still got the sharp pains?

What symptoms (imaginary or real) does everybody else have?

I had a really defined pregnancy line for about 1 min, and then it disappeared. So just a very cruel ink line.
I remember with my last pregnancy, I had really gooey discharge at 7dpo. I feel like I have it now, but might just be another cruel element of overthinking xx

I've got no unusual symptoms this cycle. I've had sore boobs from 1dpo but this is super normal for me 🙄

@bringmearainbow I was pregnant last year and had no symptoms of it at all so sometimes that is a good sign 🙂

@Sunnymummy3 ahhh well one can only hope 🤞🏼 I keep trying to remember what symptoms I had with ds but all I noted down was hungry and sore boobs 😆 pretty useless. I've had 3 pregnancies 2 last year and they both had different symptoms

I am around 11dpo today and had a random nosebleed this evening so of course now my hopes are up! Feel like I've got a bit of pulling in my abdomen which I remember from my first but like someone else said, could just be a standard nothing twinge. Going to try and hold off testing until the weekend if I can...going to drag so much!

Has anyone tested yet?

I tested today, (8dpo) knowing it was too early but I couldn't resist, after much squinting in different lights around the house, the bfn test is in the bin (not to be retrieved later 😁)

I'm still holding out...13dpo today and can't shake the feeling AF is on her way, but will do a test Saturday or Sunday if she isn't here by then! Good luck everyone
