Seven seas TTC tablets

I started taking them last cycle but found my boobs were incredibly sore starting at CD 8, got better then worsened after ovulation to the point where I had to wear a sports bra for bed up until AF arrived now completely back to normal.
They also lengthened my cycle by a week which I’ve heard can happen.

My question is has anyone had similar and whether I should continue to take them?

What TTC vitamins do you take that have helped get a BFP?

I found the last cycle really upsetting as I had assorts of pg symptoms and obviously the late period so got my hopes up which I don’t want to happen again obviously

Any advice appreciated

@Katiex84x I am taking these also took them when trying to conceive DC1.

Now you have said this I have had crazy sore boobs since we have started trying (cycle 3) to the point I thought I must have been pregnant. I also wore a bra to bed 2 nights and had very veiny boobs. It starts just after ovulation. I didn't have this prior to taking these. Hmmm you got me thinking now x

nats2010 · 06/03/2023 17:49

I have to be honest and say I tried them and had no issues with them. Also conceived very quickly. I hope you manage to find something that works for you x

LittleMrsPerfect · 06/03/2023 17:51

They are vitamins, they wont interfere with your cycle!!

You probably had these cycle issues as you are TTC and had a chemical pregnancy or something.

Katiex84x · 06/03/2023 18:09

@LittleMrsPerfect I’m a nurse and have a very logical brain but honestly I’ve seen so much online about these tablets which makes me think twice. It’s the B6 in them that messes with hormones. Plus my boobs started hurting on CD8 which was way before ovulation (CD 18) so won’t have been anything to do with pregnancy.
I have never had sore boobs before prior to starting this even when I was pregnant (with the exception of breastfeeding ouch 😂)
I’m just unsure whether to continue them as they’ve got such good reviews and I did have increased EWCM whilst in my fertile week too but can’t be doing with another 35 day cycle !

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 honestly I couldn’t even touch them or turn over in bed absolutely crazy. The only difference was the tablets

@nats2010 thank you 😊

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 have you had sore boobs every cycle since taking them?

OP posts:
Tryingtoconceivenumber2 · 06/03/2023 18:26

@Katiex84x yes every time. This is cycle 3 for me on #2 started taking tabs end of December 22. I can't remember if I had this when I was trying last time. Took the tablets from April to August that time.

Katiex84x · 06/03/2023 18:29

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 hmm that’s interesting. I do like them as they are so easy to take and they definitely helped with my pms symptoms too. I could cope with the sore boobs if they didn’t lengthen my cycle. I’ll have to have a think. Thanks again xx

@Katiex84x no worries. I can't say I've noticed them lengthen my cycle I normally get AF around CD30 / 31 which is normal for me x

Twoinapod · 06/03/2023 18:36

I used them and had no issues at all, conceived quickly. Used pregnacare this time and again no issues and conceived quickly. I can’t see how vitamins can mess up a cycle

Katiex84x · 06/03/2023 18:50

@Tryingtoconceivenumber2 hopefully a one off 🤞🏼

Vitamins can mess with your cycle. Conceive plus messed mine up

They can. Conceive plus messed mine up. So did super b complex. Made my ovulation late

KnickerlessParsons · 06/03/2023 23:37

Correlation does not mean causation.

Katiex84x · 06/03/2023 23:39

@Twoinapod vitb6 can actually be used to lengthen a short LP so they can very much mess up cycles

I had delayed AF on Seven Seas & usually I’m clockwork. I’m using the Better You Conception spray now

Twoinapod · 07/03/2023 06:09

@Katiex84x exactly you still ovulate at the same time, it just helps make you more receptive to pregnancy. It doesn’t ‘mess up’ your cycle, it helps give you a better chance.

zorgoid · 07/03/2023 06:35

I used folic acid and vitamin d

Olivia199 · 07/03/2023 06:43

So I used these and they were fantastic for me. It was like I wasn't actually taking anything. However the pregnacare made me feel quite awful, similar to you. So I wonder if different ones suit different people and perhaps you try another?

ChloeN · 07/03/2023 08:04

I took them for a cycle and stopped, I feel like they did interfere with my cycle, but that might of been a coincidence! I took vitmains separately instead, folic acid, vitamin d, COQ10 and dha and it bought me back to ovulating on day 14 xx

Katiex84x · 07/03/2023 09:40

@ChloeN what doses did you take? Did I help conceive? I’m scared to take anything now! I usually ovulate on day 17 and have a 29 day cycle but last one was 35 days

OP posts:
Katiex84x · 07/03/2023 09:41

@Olivia199 yeah maybe it’s just whatever suits each person

Yep, this was what I was going to add - Pregnacare messed with my cycle, seven seas didn't and was much better for me. Try a few different ones - I think Boots are good too

ChloeN · 07/03/2023 12:17

@Katiex84x I was the same but in the end thought it was worth a go! I conceived first cycle taking them! DHA was one 2000mg a day and COQ10 one 200mg a day! Folic acid and vitamin d one tablet a day as well xx
