Hi All!

Has anyone had a short period and successfully conceived?
Which day did you ovulate?
My period only lasted 4 days and not sure which day I am ovulating although I did feel some cramps on CD 8/9.

Hi there,
No words of wisdom here, but I just wanted to say you are not alone. My period is 2-3 days max with brownish discharge in for a day before and a couple of days after. Not trying to convince right now but it is a concern of mine for the future.

I wish you all the best with getting pregnant, I believe as long as you ovulate it’s very much kn the cards. Have you tried some ovulation strips?

Ive always had short periods.. around 3 days. Both times i got pregnant i had ovulated around day 10. Im menopausal now and can tell when im ovulating and its still around the 10 day mark

I have short periods (2 days, sometimes 3) and am currently pregnant with 3rd baby. Conceived on first month with #1, 3rd month with #2 and unexpectedly with #3 (I only say this to reference the fact that it didn't affect my ability to conceive) First two pregnancies I ovulated around day 13/14 but it appears this baby must've been conceived on an ovulation of day 10 based on when we had sex / baby's due date.

Are you tracking your ovulation? As far as I can tell, as long as you ovulate it's possible and a short period shouldn't affect that. Short luteal phase can make it harder but definitely nowhere near impossible.

@MarielleY
Thank you
Ive started using them but not sure if I'm using them correctly or completely missed the peak this month

@Hotvimto3 - glad to hear you got pregnant successfully- hopefully it works for me too!

@Somuchtolearnabout
Glad to hear you had successful pregnancies too!
I have started tracking ovulation but dont know if I missed it this month?
I used opks on Fri Sat Sun and today but all negative.
However, the first opk on Friday had 2 lines with the test line being lighter than control.
I had EWCM Fri Sat and Sun so assuming I may have ovulated...

@Enn1234 I admittedly didn't get much practice but never liked the idea of the normal OPKs. Not concise enough for me. They're expensive but I had a lot of success with my first two pregnancies using the clearblue OPKs.

Best of luck to you. It can be a tough road but I good it all works out for you
