I've taken from Easy at home tests and I get a line in the middle. Shouldn't the negative line be further to the right? Wondering if I am not testing correctly.

That's a positive, albeit very faint.

doozledog · 01/03/2023 08:30

Looks positive to me too, can you do another test?

BbqFanatic · 01/03/2023 08:46

Thanks. Shouldn't there be two lines for a positive test? I thought this was a negative. I had a mmc and surgical removal on 18th Jan. Have not had a period since. I had one little drop of blood yesterday evening so now wondering if it's implantation bleeding or a period.

I can see a faint second line - do you have any more you could use?

PeanutCat1 · 01/03/2023 08:52

I've used the Easy@home tests for both pregnancies and the line placement looks normal to me. That does look like a positive test though, I found that the tests didn't get really get very dark positive lines until well after my period was due. If you can I would test with a more sensitive brand like First Response or if not, wait a couple of days and do another Early@home one.

Izzie94x · 01/03/2023 08:53

That looks positive to me too!! ✨ x

After the miscarriage last month, I don't want to get excited too soon. Will try another test tomorrow and buy first response too. Thank you, fingers crossed x
Will post again soon 😊

I'd say that was a faint positive too! Congratulations!!

timetosave · 01/03/2023 09:22

@BbqFanatic that looks exactly like my early BFP with my last pregnancy, the control line can vary where it is for some reason, but I can definitely see two lines

BbqFanatic · 01/03/2023 09:27

I notice the faint line in the photo now that you've pointed it out but not when holding the test. I'm so bad reading these tests. But thanks for confirming the other line placement. Will test again tomorrow morning and post back. Thank you.

The lines can be slightly off on these just depends how it’s made. But there is definitely a very faint second line. Did you get a negative tests after your miscarriage? It could be left over hcg as it can take a while to leave your system. But if you’ve had a negative previously it does look hopeful for a positive

BbqFanatic · 01/03/2023 10:23

I'm not so sure now if it's from the previous pregnancy as I thought this too was a negative test or I've been reading them wrong. I'll buy first response test to confirm. It shouldn't still be positive as the surgery was on 18th Jan. I had a little drop of blood yesterday thinking my periods will start but no more bleeding today.

Took a few tests. FRER had a very faint line only when holding it up, not when lying flat on the surface.

The bleeding/spotting is now deep rust brown with minor cramps.

Have you had a negative test since your surgery? Just because I didn't get one for 5 weeks after my Mmc and turned out I had retained products unfortunately. Sorry I don't want to upset you

BbqFanatic · 02/03/2023 13:43

I thought the tests were coming back negative as I didn't notice the faint line until I posted here. Was waiting for the periods to come back.
