@TheBirdintheCave @LuckyMoonstone @Indianna2006 im good now just a bit tender xx. I went really shivery right before the pain intensified so I was freaking out a bit. Crying at the a@e nurse 🙈 bet they have a red flag at my name now 🙈🙈😩

LuckyMoonstone · 03/03/2023 20:02

@Indianna2006 oh yes never thought about that, he/she will be one of the oldest. I have noticed feeling much less sick the last few days so the 2nd trimester is definitely here 👍

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 03/03/2023 20:05

Can I join and borrow your wisdom! Ttc #1, predicted ovulation around day 16... but my LH is confusing the hell out of me!

Thanks so much for all your good luck wishes.
Just got back from the scan and all is looking good. Measuring 8+3, which is exactly right for when I think I ovulated. Can’t believe it.
Got to admit I almost ran out of the scan room when we went in. Horrible flashbacks to the last time I was in this position.
One hurdle down… still a long way to go but feeling some hope 🤞

FfoxRedN · 03/03/2023 21:03

@MrsJGrealish oh wow! Hope you're feeling ok now? Fingers crossed you'll feel much better in the morning!

@FlyingHighFlyingLow that looks perfectly normal! Id start testing twice a day around now. The levels will fluctuate and then normally between 8-24 hours they will rise before you get your peak. Then keep testing until it's low again. You'll ovulate around 12-36 hours after your peak 🤞🏼. That's a rough estimate as everyone is slightly different. Good luck!

LuckyMoonstone · 03/03/2023 21:06

@pangolin84 ah brill that is good to hear 😁

MrsJGrealish · 03/03/2023 21:18

@pangolin84 ❤️

@FlyingHighFlyingLow this is my chart til I gave up. I would be testing twice a day too now xx

@pangolin84 @LuckyMoonstone such wonderful news both of you are doing well 🥰 xx

TheBirdintheCave · 04/03/2023 07:53

The mystery deepens... Is this an annovulatory cycle perhaps?

@LuckyMoonstone @pangolin84 congratulations on your scans ladies - so happy for you both 👏

@TheBirdintheCave your chart does look a bit strange but I think given you've been poorly and pre temps are unreliable, it might be hard to properly gauge what's happening this month. I've been told that anovulatory cycles do happen but not as regularly as we would be led to believe. Also the fact your your cm had changed makes me think you have O'd. My post O temps have never made it as high as yours, I think my highest is 36.6!

FfoxRedN · 04/03/2023 12:18

Oh god longest rise ever!!!
DH is really struggling. Ended up having to go and finish himself last night and come back at last knockings, the pressure is really getting to him 🙈. I'm not sure we'll get it again this cycle xx

FfoxRedN · 04/03/2023 12:19

Forgot to add the pic xx

TheBirdintheCave · 04/03/2023 12:45

@FfoxRedN I'm really surprised it hasn't labelled that last one as peak as it was the same strength (1.55) in the previous cycle 🤔

FfoxRedN · 04/03/2023 12:45

@TheBirdintheCave it will if the next ones lower 🤞🏼 xx

MrsJGrealish · 04/03/2023 18:46

This is gonna seem like an odd thing to obsess about but why do people not want December babies? My first mc was due dec and I was ecstatic..literally best Christmas present ever (well until it wasn't) 🥲

I guess no one wants to be in labour on Christmas day? 🤔 It's something I think I thought about at the start of trying for G but I definitely do not care now. I just want a baby 😂

OP posts:
MrsJGrealish · 04/03/2023 19:10

@TheBirdintheCave yea probably 🤔One of mine was born in a July heatwave and it was horrendous. Trying to keep him cool but he wanted held close. He was very unsettled 😕 but right enough if it was July or nothing it would be July again 😅. Well not now but July past. Apologies bit of a ramble there but I know what I mean 😂

You must've seen the same thread I did! I was wondering too. A baby is a baby, doesn't matter when they're born ❤️

LuckyMoonstone · 04/03/2023 19:24

I saw that thread too! DS birthday is 16th December and it never bothered me that I would have a December baby. His birthdays will always be Christmassy and fun 😊 if some people realised how long it can actually take to fall pregnant, they wouldn’t be so fussy about skipping months!

MrsJGrealish · 04/03/2023 19:28

@Happinessandrainbows 🤣🤣 there's me trying to be discreet..mortified 🙈 may have to delete mumsnet now

Happinessandrainbows · 04/03/2023 19:30

@MrsJGrealish 😂😂😂😂😂
@LuckyMoonstone definitely

FfoxRedN · 04/03/2023 19:31

I did see that too, I don't know why people pick December in general, however for other personal reasons I want to avoid Jan/Feb. It does make it really hard TTC though, because on the one hand I think 'just keep going' and on the other if they were born that time I know my stress levels would soar and I'd be thinking 'I should have just avoided these two months'. Never got the Christmas thing though but each to their own. I just wouldn't post about it as if I was casting opinion that would influence my choice 😣 xx
