@TheBirdintheCave ahhh rubbish I had never had an indent line with frer until last cycle I had a very obvious line so I dipped another in the same sample and that was very negative. The line was mega obvious but it just didn't look like the positive lines I'd had previously if that makes any sense 🙄

I've got clear stretchy CM today wonder if I'm in for another long stint of fertile CM like last cycle 🤔

@TheBirdintheCave can you post it so we can double check your line eyes?

I've found this past year in particular I've become a bit of an expert at spotting the indents - no reflection of the tests concerned, more an indication of how much I stare at the bloody things and tested way too early. With FRERs I think proper lines are a lot more defined (if you're seeing an indent it's a lot fuzzier and card to distinguish from shadow), with ics indents tend to be, if anything, whiter than the rest of the strip...

@curliegirlie I already dismantled it and put it in the bin. It was definitely an indent though.

saw my consultant again this afternoon, I’m good to trigger tomorrow morning! Then the 2ww from Saturday and knowing I can’t test too early just in case I still get the trigger shot positive

@TheBirdintheCave any updates? When is AF due?

@bringmearainbow Either Sunday or Monday. Nothing much to report really. My boobs are getting more sore but that's not out of the ordinary. Temps are still high though they don't tend to crash out until the day of AF.

All the IVF stuff has been cleared up now. I know what protocol I'm on and it's the one I wanted so that's good :) The main quandary now is when to buy the medication... Once we purchase it there's no refunds it we get pregnant next cycle so we'd lose £1k if we do manage it :/

How are your OPKs looking? :)

@TheBirdintheCave oooh that's annoying can you not hold off buying them until you know for sure you're not pregnant? Or do you have to start them as soon as AF comes? Opks are low and CM has reverted back to creamy so think it's probably still on track for end of next week. Can you believe I actually forgot to do an opk yesterday 🤣 I got in bed and thought oh I didn't poas 🙈 decided to try the smep this cycle but I started it a bit later or I knew we would be pooped 😅 still no guarantee we won't be pooped by the end of next week but we will have tried 🤷🏼‍♀️ I think O will be around next Saturday

@TheBirdintheCave your chart looks super promising though. Are you going to test again in the morning? xx

@bringmearainbow haha the old SMEP method, good decision to hold off, it is knackering but it's pretty much worked for us each time (so long as DH gets there each time 😂) xx

@FfoxRedN ngl looking at all the times we have to dtd makes me feel tired 😂 luckily i have a couple of tricks to make it quick a few times 😆 we will dtd tonight, Sunday, tues thurs fri Sat & sun I kind of want to O earlier which might happen coz you never know but also I don't incase it messes up the stupid schedule and I miss getting in enough before O 🙄

@bringmearainbow You FORGOT to POAS? 😯😂 I am shocked, haha. SMEP sounds like a good shout. That's kind of what we do I think, without actually realising.

We have to buy the meds after our baseline scan which will be some time between CD18-25 we have to call to book it when I get my AF. I won't be able to know if I'm pregnant beforehand. We'll just have to take the gamble I think :/

@FfoxRedN It is on an upward trend but I think if I were pregnant I would have had an obvious line on the test I took yesterday. Just going to wait it out now rather than waste more money 😅 I should have saved the tests for today/tomorrow but never mind 😂

@bringmearainbow haha yeah but if it does come early it's such a relief aswell!! When do you think you'll O?

@TheBirdintheCave oh you don't have any tests left 🫣. If you implanted on day 10, it may not have shown on the test you did yet? I still have everything crossed for you and hope AF stays away. If she does come are you going to try naturally next cycle aswell as progressing the IVF?

@FfoxRedN I only had the two so yup I am out of tests 😂 I have no willpower when they're in the house so I didn't want to get a box of cheapies this time.

We'll be going for the last cycle with all guns blazing I think and then IVF from around April 28th. Egg collection will be around day 13/14 and then embryo transfer (if we get any good ones) will be on day 18/19 with a test 11 days later.

@TheBirdintheCave I know it's a daunting process but I am super excited for you aswell. I hope it doesn't get that far but you've got a plan in place if this last month of trying isn't the one xx

@TheBirdintheCave 🤣🤣 I know I shocked myself I was super busy last night it just slipped my mind prob helped that I knew it isn't really time yet! Tbh if that's when you have to pay for it it's always going to be a gamble no matter what cycle

@FfoxRedN I think it will be sat CD20. It would be nice if it was earlier but only if it ties in with when we've DTD 😂

@bringmearainbow to be fair so long as you start by Monday then you'll be fine! Better when there's not so much pressure to start though. I know what you mean though mine came so early and we totally hadn't done enough in the build up, or so I thought anyway! Xx

@bringmearainbow i triggered this morning so I know I will ovulate Saturday around 9pm, I’m already panicking that we aren’t dtd enough, should have been dtd more in the run up to the trigger but we didn’t start until yesterday. Every time we have dtd in the run up to seeing the consultant to see if we can trigger it’s failed and not been able to trigger and so I got in my head if we didn’t then I’d be able to trigger and we did but now I’m like ahhh should have dtd Wednesday! So on consultant advice once yesterday, once or twice today, once or twice tomorrow and maybe sunday morning

@FfoxRedN tbf when we conceived DS we only Dtd on -5, -2 and -1 so I know it can work not doing all the time you just totally get in your head don't you 🙄 I'll be happy as long as we get a few days in before which will be fine

@Alexis7890 eeek so exciting! So hard though isn't it wish we could see into the future to know when these things will happen so we can prepare properly 😆 I hope you didn't have anything else planned for this weekend 🙈

Atm I just want AF to come so I can get rid of the progesterone related symptoms. I've been burping for days and it's so annoying 😫
