Hello,

I have been using my OPK’s since November time, but every month I never get a flashing smiley I just goes from circle to static smiley.
what could this mean?
Also when I get the static does this mean I am ovulation or about too ? Is there anyway to pin point your exact moment of ovulation? how long does the LH surge last ? Hours ?
sorry it’s all just driving me a bit up the wall.

Some women get several days of rising LH some will only have it over a few hours so it’s easy to miss. When you think you’re around ovulation test a few times a day. The peak or static means you Will usually ovulate in the next 24hours. You may feel a bit of pain in either ovary when ovulation occurs but you can’t pinpoint the exact moment really. You don’t need to anyway. Just make sure you are having sex on the run up and the day of/day after peak to make sure the sperm is there to meet the egg.

A lot of people have issues with the digitals, I’d Recommend the easy@home strips and the premom app, it’s much cheaper and really easy

Thank you ! I took the OPK around 9am on Sunday morning we DTD Sunday after noon then also last night.
Believe I may have ovulated around 6pm last night as had the usual pulling pain in my right side where my ovary would be (I assume).
