Just can't decide what to do!!!!!

OMG I think I am going to go mad.

Currently I am CD28. AF due today'ish. Normally by now I have had slight spotting, but nothing this month so far. But I suffered a few days of low dull ache, but that has stopped the other day.

Now I am stuck, Should I test now? DH's bithday next week and would like to know soon if I am pregnant. I was thinking of giving him the test result wrapped if I am. I can not wait until day before birthday to test and think that I would not be able to keep my mouth shut long enough if I test tomorrow with a positive. I am trying to convince myself I am not pregnant.

I still think I may not be as I notice a small amount of CM tonight and not sure what this means.

Help any advice greatly appreciated, please.

I think this is a really personal decision. Some women prefer not to test early, while others (including me) can't bear the uncertainty and would rather have a negative test result than spend hours or days waiting and wondering and getting their hopes up...

As for the dull aches etc, I nearly went crazy trying to distinguish pregnancy symptoms from pre-menstrual symptoms - for me, they are almost exactly the same.

So, if you're feeling like you're going mad, I'd just get the test out of the way. If it is good news - wonderful. If it's bad news, at least you'll have time to deal with the disappointment before your dh's birthday.

Today is CD29 and I have decided this morning not to think about testing. I know it is important to test with first stream of the day. So I quickly went to the loo (sorry if too much info) so that I could not test it. I made sure test sticks were in another room.

Decided that I may test tomorrow think aobut it morning when DH has gone to work so I can the day to think about any results.

Still not sure if I can wait. Still no af symptoms.

ohhh twinklewishes, its os hard isnt it? i have been convinced for the last week i was pregnant. i have been dizzy and feeling sick. this will be my third and i knew i was pregnant with both of mine before i tested. anyway i was due yesterday did a test and it was negative and in the afternoon got some cramping so i was disapointed (especially as i was stupid enough to buy some maternity clothes in the mothercare sale as i was so excited last week. this is the third month of trying).
i still havnt had a period and the dizzy, sick feeling is worse and my stomach is very sore like i have done a thousand sit ups. i am going to wait a few days before i test again unless period comes.

Thanks hester and Mellie. Sorry Mellie, I know how you feel. I, unfortunately bought a stack of materning clothes in the summer sale for my pregnancy last year. But after a weeks holiday to visit family in November, I had worn all of them and then I miscarried a few days later at 15w.

But I am smiling now as enjoying all the fun that goes with trying, although last month felt like hard work.

Anyway, no news today either. I got up early this morning as usual and decided not to test. I went for a bike ride with the children last night and are convinced af is on way. I could not ride at all as I felt quite a bit of pain. I ended up walking with the bike up all the hills and free-wheeling all the way down. lol lol.

When I conceived last times there was no pain at all so are very confused. I have never had implatation pain at all with my other 2 dd's or last pregnancy.

I think I am going to test in morning which will be cd31 (normally I am 27 or 28'ish).

Will let you know how I get on.

i must confess i couldnt resist and did a test this afternoon and it was still negative but still no period. i dont know what is going on! they are cheap sainsburys tests so i might get a CB one for a few days time.
i am not too down though as my bugaboo bee is being delivered tomorrow so i can play with that . i am trying to decide if i should sell by cameleon which i love or my mamas and papas pilko pramtte in polka which is alot easier with two toddlers.

Poor you Mellie, let's hope that with everything crossed you get a bfp soon and that it might just have been a bit too early to test. I am tempted to go and test now, but was thinking that you should test first thing in the morning.

Now I can't decide what to do. I might just ask when is it best to test during the day. I have been holding off going to the loo for the past three hours until I can make my mind up.

people do say first thing in the morning (which i didnt do ) its soooooo tempting to keep testing but its upsetting when its a negative.
i am going to go out for a walk with my two monsters and try not to think about it for a while.

any news? still got my fingers crossed for you. i decided not to buy a test so i am not tempted to take it for at least a few days more.
i got my bug bee this afternoon and its great!! but when i put my little girl in it she was very sick (and i mean the complete works) and now all the covers are in the washing machine (it has taken an hour to take it to bits) because i didnt read the instructions.

I am sorry not to post, I have been answering on my other thread "When Should you test"

I did do a test and got a bfp on Monday afternoon. I did another this morning and got another positive. I have bought wrapping for the test stick and are going to give it DH tomorrow for Birthday/Valentine's Day. I was nearly sprung carrying out the test when he saw me in the bathroom disposing of the testing cup.

I surprised DH this morning with card and test stick. He was over the moon. We all sat together while my DH opened his Birthday and Valentines Day things. We were all so happy, but he was completely shocked and could not work out what I had attatched to the card. He thought it was a bookmark Just visualise that if you can.

unfortunately my period came today. its weird because i suddenly feel normal again, no dizzyness or sickness!.i am really sad about it and i went shopping to take my mind off it.
they do say that 25% of pregnancies mc, alot of which woment dont even realise as they think its just a late period. i dont know if i was or not but i really didnt feel right.

ohhh well, i will just have more fun trying this month
