Hello everyone,
I'm on the look out for positive stories around low platelets, or their experiences with it.
I have low platelets -non pregnancy related- and they dipped again when I was pregnant.
Our 1st pregnancy was OK but gradually got worse ( vomting and abdomen pain) and then our 20 week scan revealed our baby was small, a few weeks later I got hypertension and then there was no heart beat from baby- I gave birth to a little girl at 23 weeks.
My gynaecologist said with the next pregnancy to take aspirin - however this would then effect my platelets
Anyone had anything similar?
It makes me feel like future pregnancies wouldn't be successful :(
