How many days is your cycle normally? My lines started to get darker CD12, but not the darkest until CD14, 29 day cycle this month. If you have a long cycle you may not see a peak until day 20 ish.

Mine lines didn't gradually get darker, they shot up over 2 days. I got high from cd 15 and peak on cd 17.

I got one very slightly higher reading on CD19, CD 20 I tested 3 times and it rose rapidly, I got my peak that evening. I ovulated on Cd 21. LH can rise very quickly for some women, like in a few hours or some women find it rises over several days
