Hi I've recently bought a pack of four first response tests online, I took one yesterday with a barely visible line, tonight I took one and got a very strong pink line within 30 seconds, then I took another straight after with a different sample of wee (I find it hard to trust as been ttc for ages) and it was totally negative not even a faint line, could it be possible that I'm Pregnant and the wee was too weak by the second test? or is it more likely to be negative? Does this look like an indent or positive? I have been feeling exhausted, sore boobs some cramps etc but I don't know if I'm just getting my hopes up, someone help please ❤️

This looks positive to me but if you can test again in a couple of days it would be worth doing.
Does sound like maybe second sample was just not as strong x

Twoinapod · 22/02/2023 19:41

This is definitely positive congratulations. The other urine sample would be too diluted to show anything. You’ve had two positives, you can start believing it.

LilLilLi · 22/02/2023 19:42

That’s a positive! Congratulations x

It does look positive OP & pink too, hoping the second was just because of a diluted sample, hope you've got your BFP today🤞🏼

Negative again this morning but I had to test with a digital as that's all I had, took it apart and can see a faint line on the strip inside the digital, trying to find some more first response tests to try tomorrow, cramps are really bad today but totally negative

Digitals aren’t as sensitive as FRER, how many DPO are you?

timetosave · 23/02/2023 10:46

@Inkypot unfortunately digital tests always have 2 lines inside them, but they are also less sensitive that FRERs as you probably know, I had a really bad evap with FRER a while ago but yours is more pink

pippabg · 23/02/2023 11:21

That picture definitely looks positive! Try to test in the morning when the concentration of HCG is highest, and do it the same time each day to see if there's any progression. How many dates post ovulation are you? Is your period already late?

Katy31 · 23/02/2023 12:03

I showed up on the digital clearblue ovulation test as peak on 11th feb meaning I would be around 11/12 dpo, but it has ready as "high" ever since, I have endometriosis so my periods are all over the place, according to my app I'd be due on the 4th march but I'm not sure how reliable that is, this mornings digital was the first one I've had with two lines in but I've since read it's sensitivity is like 25 whereas first responses apparently can read as low as 6 in the urine,
Really anxious as I'm desperate for another baby x

As others have mentioned the clear blue digital tests aren't as sensitive. Try a different brand tomorrow morning OP

I hope you get the outcome your hoping for 🤞

MrMarkham · 23/02/2023 12:15

Ignore the two lines on the digital, they always have two lines. The first response is very positive, try another of those. They are more sensitive so will be positive sooner than a digital. I think it took three or four days after my first response positive to get a digital positive.

Katy31 · 23/02/2023 13:37

I took another first response just now and it's negative.. really don't know what's going on as my first positive was taken mid afternoon, this was glaringly negative 😔

Took another with first pee off the day today and another negative, I've had three negative and one positive so the positive must be false 😞
