Would you skip a few months TTC?

Hi,

We started TTC #2 in December. No luck in the first few months. We are both 35. I have irregular cycles but DC1 was (very luckily) conceived in a few months.

We are moving soon and have a few parties and weddings in spring. We also have a wedding abroad later in the summer which I potentially wouldn't be able to attend if pregnant (If too pregnant to fly)

For those reasons we have discussed stopping and waiting until summer to TTC.

Today I have got a smiley and even though I know timings would be better later in the year, I'm still tempted to try this month.

Would you wait? I think my biological clock can't help but tick 🙈

I would definitely just crack on if you want another.

If you conceive right now you wouldn’t be due until the end of November anyway so would be ok flying.

The irregular cycles could mean that if you wait until summer, and it takes 4 / 5 cycles, that could easily take you to 2024 conception, maybe even 2025 birth, which is ages!

That's true, thanks.

I think my heart knows we should just crack on and hope we are lucky.

But my head thinks a few months might not make too much of a difference but might be more convenient.

I guess there won't ever be a perfect time

I'd just crack on. Secondary infertility is a thing so, just in case, crack on.

Another one saying crack on! Time is not your friend at 35.

Crack on
