TWW - Testing Around 1st March

Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

@TTCRainbow it went fantastically, thank you! One (phew, twins in the family) little bean, heart beating away! Dated 8+3😁Feels more real now!

That's wonderful news @DiamondApricot 🥰 I'm 8+3 too, will be interesting to see what date they actually arrive on ❤️ did you get a pic? I got one from epu at 6+5 not much to see but how nice is it to have the photo anyway!

Omg we are all 8 + 3 🤯🥺❤️ My report said due on 11.11 which is what i predicted before I fell pregnant 🙈 (I wrote manifestations and affirmations in my notes - really spooky!) As mine was private I brought the video and extra photos which I’ll attach a photo from 7 weeks.. next scan is 10 weeks on 15th so will post update!

I've got 13th Nov but I think I'll wait until my dating scan to update all my apps, already booked as a remarkable show of efficiency by the NHS - 3rd May.
I've got pics but there isn't a huge amount to see, the circle at the top is the yolk sac.

How is everyone doing? I've been plagued by illness ever since the scan so hope the bean is still OK, planning to tell my parents tomorrow 😀

hey @DiamondApricot - omg that was same as me the day after scan i had sickness bug couldn't keep anything down and had fever! Baby bean will be fine, someone said to me the more poorly you feel the better they are as you are protecting them! How exciting!!

We had first midwife appointment yesterday so have officially got pregnancy notes which is such a milestone for us, tomorrow we've got 10 week private scan too so can wait to see how much they've grown, going to ask if we can listen to the heartbeat as we only saw it last time!

Hope everyone else is ok! My sickness/nausea seems to have got better, not completely gone and some days worse than other still but i actually feel half human now!! xxx

I am 10 weeks today or maybe 9+6 going by my scan….I have my 12 weeks scan on 3rd nov and due 11:11. I feel absolutely rank. Been on every sickness medication going but nothing is helping. Been in bed most nights as soon as I put the toddler to bed 🤣🤣

@Myperfectchaos i'm 10 weeks tomorrow and due date also 11.11.23! Do you mean 12 Week scan on 3rd May? Mines 2nd May for 12 week scan. I feel ya!! I've been the same but must admit the last week i have been so much better, I hope you start feeling better soon xxx

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow. I would say it's come around fast, but I've spent the last 6 weeks so, so sick and absolutely exhausted. I've been struggling to look after my toddler and I've been really hit and miss about being able to work, and being really slow when I can work. But...those are good signs, right? 🤞

I'm 12.5 weeks now and it feels like the fog is starting to lift. Less sick, tired out but not sleep-16-hours-a-day-exhausted. I just really hope everything is fine tomorrow. It's been a rollercoaster ride!

Morning ladies, I've only just started feeling a bit more energetic these last couple of days...the nausea is still lingering slightly but on it's way out I feel. I've got my scan a week today when I'll be 12+5 and it can't come quick enough although I'm so bloody nervous about it. Not had a scan since 6+5 so 6 weeks since we knew for certain that wverything was ok, I'm just praying that my symptoms being how they have is an indication that all has been and is going well.

My nausea and sickness have started to go a bit, still here but I’m definitely better. Starting to feel slightly more human which is good. Sooo ready for it to be next Wednesday I’m terrified but excited at the same time.

how are you all announcing?

I'm not sure yet, I've been thinking about it but we've not really spoken about it...we spoke about it last time and mc. It's so different this time round, I feel so disconnected from this pregnancy. I'm sure if everything is fine at next week's scan we will start to relax about it a bit more and start to get excited. Roll on next week!

We're not going to announce as such, told our parents already as we'd want their support if the worst happened but probably just going to mention it as and when we see people. I'm not looking forward to telling work!

So nice we are all starting to feel better now but all nervous for scans approaching! I am so positive that everything will be all fine for us all. I will share scan photo on Tuesday.. feel like the days are dragging now!

Yesterday i had the worst bloated/tight pains in my tummy for about 8 hours and did wonder if i should speak to someone but it got better and today im sure my tummy has become a little bump!

Our close family and friend know as well as work but i've been debating doing an Instagram post or reel (i love a reel) lmao as just waited for this moment my whole life (or at least since i was 12 with my first niece) we have a lot of friends on there and a few people who know we was TTC who i would want to share with xxx

Scan went well! It was such a relief. Due date is the 4th, which is what they said at the reassurance scan six weeks ago. That's 3 days earlier than the date based on LMP, but I still think I must have ovulated early, so it makes sense.

Now if the sickness and fatigue could go and I could get that second trimester boost, that would be golden!

We haven't done a formal announcement, but we've told family and some close friends. It'd be nice if I can tell people as I see them this time around rather than doing a big announcement.

I actually saw one of our friends (a doctor) at the hospital on my way out and literally ran up to him to show him the photos 😅
