Hi everyone

I took a test this morning
My period was predicted to arrive 6 days ago but my periods have been irregular after coming off birth control 4 months ago. Some cycles were 20 days, others were 35. Currently on day 27 so perhaps My period is not late but maybe regulating?
Anyway I dipped the test and waited 5 minutes and there was a positive in my opinion. I told myself don't get excited. I took a photo then went to take another one literally 10 seconds later and the positive had disappeared.
Anyone got any advice? I have attached a photo of the line I seen.

Online search says that evaporation lines are usually colourless and take longer to show? This was after a 5 minute wait and it has disappeared, whilst it was also pink in colour so it would maybe suggest it's not an evaporation line? This is stressful lol

I think that's just the dye moving further across the test window I'm afraid!

Twoinapod · 21/02/2023 16:11

That’s the dye moving across the window unfortunately. A positive line would be further over to the left and straight. Positive lines tend to get darker as they dry too, they don’t disappear

Mummyme87 · 21/02/2023 16:25

Yes as PP said, that’s not a BFP, it’s due moving across the window.

Thank you
11 days late and still no sign of AF
Lower tummy pain isolated to the left
I can only describe it as a sharp twinge that moves into lower left groin peliv area. I would love to get a positive test!! I have had 2 long cycles recently so it says online to test at day 36, I'm currently on day 33.
