Can a faint positive disappear?

Long story short my last period should have been on the 13th January, however I took some tablets to delay this and ended up getting my period on the 20th January instead. I have taken these once before and never had any issue with them interrupting my normal cycle. According to my period tracker I am 14 days late for my normal period, or going off the date it started after my tablets, I am 6 days late. A positive line definitely came up less than 5 minutes after taking the test, but I did a 6 day early (before missed period) digital using the same urine sample after seeing the positive and it said not pregnant! The line has now disappeared 😔 am I pregnant and testing too early?

Also just to add (not sure how to edit the post) my periods have always been very regular, always comes a day or two around the expected date, I’ve never been this late before apart from when I’ve been pregnant.

I think, if you are 6 or 14 days late, the second line should be stronger .

But I'd test again in 2 days if period doesn't arrive!

The pills to delay periods are known to cause upset to cycles for a bit, even if you haven’t experienced it before I would imagine that is the cause. If you are 6 days late there should be a clear positive by now
