Hi all, DP and I are keeping our TTC plans quiet so I don't have anyone to sound out in real life...appreciate collective wisdom!!
I've had 3 mirena coils so no periods for 15 years. I had my mirena out on 22 December, and had a 1 day bleed on 1 January. Then had a proper period for 5 days between 10-14 January. Then...nothing.
I'm not sure if it's just my cycle settling post-mirena (I've been on some sort of hormonal contraception since I was 16, I'm now 36!), but why did I then have a proper period? It's just disconcerting and I'm not sure how long I should wait until I get worried.
