Spotting

Since I have started TTC baby 2 (2 months ago) I have noticed I am having spotting for around 4 days prior to full flow. This month started on CD 24.

Anyone else had this? Was it down to low progesterone? Were you able to conceive with this?

Also do you count spotting as CD1 or the full flow?

I did ovulation strips this month and got a strong positive so I think I'm ovulating. I am just gone 36 and DC1 is almost 3.

Hi, I know this is an old post but did you have any luck ttc or helping with low progesterone? I start spotting 9dpo (I have a 12 day luteal phase) and have been ttc for over a year with no luck at all. I have an appointment with fertility clinic in a couple of weeks but am worried I'll be dismissed.

Yes I did I got pregnant the next month and I am currently 23 weeks. I have done some more research since. I know I have cervical ectophy and I think the bleeding was caused by this.

I had no spotting at all the month I actually conceived which was the first time in about 15 months.

Had a clear smear as well during this time do know it's not that.

I didn't end up going for the progesterone test as was pregnant by that point x

My GP initially thought this was my issue but after seeing a gynaecologist they said this was not the issue and said it was probably just because my progesterone was dipping before my period. Will wait and see what they say! Thanks for responding!
