Hi all just wondering how do you tell between a period or chemical miscarriage ? My periods have become lighter and lighter with maybe only one day of a normal flow over the last 6-8 mo the and this month it was a week late AF arrived tonight but heavier than it has been for some months also cramps the same as period but I haven't had them this strong in over a year with not clots but tissue and I'm just wondering could it be a chemical ? I had a MC January 2022 and haven't been able to get pregnant since. I'm actually due to have an internal ultrasound in 3 days time.

If AF is a week late and you are/were pregnant you'd be about 5 weeks. I think if you take a test asap it'll still be faintly positive. Other than taking a test or having your blood taken for HCG I don't think you'll ever know 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'd take a test in morning only way of knowing .
My chemical resulted in 7 days of spotting then another 7 full on heavy bleeding. I was around 4-5 and didn't have tissue but did have some clotting. Cramps no worse than any normal period
