when would be the best time to test?

periods have been going backwards iyswim.

two months ago cam on about the 9th, last month about the 7th etc etc(for a couple of months now) so was expecting to start around the 5/6th this month.
haven't as as i have had unprotected sex wondered if i should do a test but don't know if i'm actually late.....

Personally, I'd do a test, but I like to know things so would't want to wait and wonder.

metoomaybe · 08/02/2008 22:17

mmm-but i think there's no point in testing too erly. if i'm going to come on in the day or so no point inspending £13 on a test...

ok still nothing so did consider doing a test today but dh says to wait till next weekend.

i do think i will find that tough.

A week is a very long time to wait, and I'm the sort of person who hates doing pregnancy tests so wait as long as possible, but if I were you I would test this monday or wednesday.

metoomaybe · 09/02/2008 08:51

yes belgo-itis a very long time to wait .

i don't know how i even feel about idea of being preg.

Shop around tomorrow, you must be able to get a test more cheaply than £13 that is a bit much.

metoomaybe · 09/02/2008 09:09

oh least of my worries!!!!

i think i might actually have a etttttttst upstairs....

Swaliswan · 09/02/2008 09:22

Have you tested? If not, you could try getting one of the CB ones that are extra sensitive and let you test up to 4 days early.

Rosylily · 09/02/2008 10:22

Ah sure find the test upstairs and do it now then !
You might find out you are, then you can start getting your head round it....or it may be too early to tell so you'll have to do another test next week if no af.

NorthernLurker · 09/02/2008 10:26

apparently you can get tests at the pound shop - for a £1!

OracleInaCoracle · 09/02/2008 10:36

go to boots, they have 2 packs for £4.99

metoomaybe · 10/02/2008 11:19

ok. am buying test today.
have no sign that period is about to start at all.

apart from a bit of grumpy weepiness.

too too weird.

OP posts:
metoomaybe · 10/02/2008 19:22
