Should I test or just wait for AF?

Hi, I am today on CD51 of a 29-34 day cycle. No AF, bfn last week and the week before. I remember feeling a very sharp right side pain 23rd January which I presumed was ovulation as I had a peak opk 22nd Jan.

I thought maybe I had had an anovulatory cycle but surely my temps would not have risen? Don't really want to test again as I can't deal with the disappointment, or seeing my dh's disheartened face. Should I just await AF and start a new cycle? Been TTC 3 years now and have been referred to a fertility specialist but still awaiting my appointment.

Hi Khanny, Im currently on CD41 no period, had a lot of cramps so each day im thinking here it comes...and yet nothing
Done numerous tests and all negative - so heartbreaking so I know how you feel!
Literally just waiting for my period or for something to happen!

Yes, with that chart you should test.

Your temps are generally a little spikey. Do you take it consistently at the same time after at least 4 hours' uninterrupted sleep?

Hi and thank you. I do chart at the same time every morning but my sleep has been a little unsettled. I think it’s because a pregnancy is all I can think about. I might pick up a test this weekend and do a fmu but I’m too worried about it being another bfn x

Well, you could wait a few more days and see if your temp pops back up after those few lower ones, but if it does I'd say it is definitely time to test.
I'm sorry this is a bit stressful- I do know how you feel, and I hope that things go your way.

Hey I’ve attached my chart up to and including this morning🤷🏼‍♀️I’m not sure what to make of it. Haven’t got any tests so not tested again but i keep getting a niggly crampy feeling low down but af is not coming x

Should I test or just wait for AF?

It's not obviously coming down, is it? I'd have cracked and tested by now! Cramps are pretty meaningless. I was convinced my period was coming when I conceived my first. Fingers crossed for you.

No I’m not having a major dip! I think I’m just expecting a negative to be honest that’s why I’ve not bothered testing. I don’t ‘feel’ pregnant or any different. Thank you, I’m probably going to pick up a clear blue this week when I go shopping x

@NameOchangeO1 I’ve not got any tests in at home, but I have had a dip in temp today (not below coverline but almost and keep getting AF cramps). If by Friday I’ve not started AF then I’ll test x

My period came on CD43 - I was 12 days late! Totally messed up my cycles now - dont know when im ovulating next and whether I'll ever successfully conceive 😔
How are you doing? Have you done a home pregnancy test?

Aww sorry to hear that, I hate when our bodies do things like that to us. I feel exactly the same, like its never going to happen for me too.

I haven't done a hpt but I did get a high opk last night at around 8pm on CD60 so think my body might be trying to ovulate. Had a few niggly aches last night and a couple today so will do another opk at the same time tonight and keep checking my temps and will get bd'ing. DH wasn't in last night annoyingly so we didnt dtd.

Oodles of baby dust to you and I hope you get a successful ovulation this month x
