DPO 14

Was due last sunday.

I am going crazy, the lines aren't getting darker esp DPO 13 and 14, within 3 min they're still pretty light, even dry I know they're not as dark as with previous pregnancy. I know there is nothing I can do. I feel like something is wrong. I know there is nothing anyone can say, but I just feel so lonely in my journey.

With clearblue it got even lighter from DPO 13 to DPO 14. I don't know how I will take the bad news, but it'll break my heart.

They look like they're getting darker to me xx

Happyhappy39soon40 · 14/02/2023 17:24

They are progressing well. Don't worry. Good luck.

I tested (15 dpo) positive this afternoon. Af was due yesterday.
I don't think my lines are overly strong but I not concerned.

They are getting darker. Hcg doubles every 48hours or so so I wouldn’t expect it to get darker each day. Try looking at it as the jump from dpo11 to DPO 13 or dpo12 to DPO14 then you see a big difference.

I will update this thread as time goes as after having researched, I find most threads have no result and it's hard. I hope I'm proven wrong, but when you know your body, you just know it

I think something is wrong because clearblue test is more faint (dpo14 bottom, dpo13 top), and generally both tests are still weak, regardless of line progression.

I just hope it's not ectopic pregnancy or late miscarriage, let it happen sooner, so I can move on.

I wouldn't expect your tests to look like that if it was a chemical. As others have said, you shouldn't expect to see much progression in the space of 24 hours, and if you look at the tests taken 48 hours apart the progression is definitely there.

Do you have a history of pregnancy loss? I'm asking as I was exactly like this, in fact, you have probably seen my username on previous threads about line progression. My first pregnancy was ectopic so with this one I was so full of anxiety. I convinced myself that I was having a chemical twice when really, I was either testing too much, or not at the right time.

I know it's hard to do, but I'd wait 48 hours before your next test so that you don't continue to spiral! Wishing you the best of luck x

@NalaNana thank you for replying to the thread. And I'm sorry you went through ectopic. I'm happy that your pregnancy is going well, wish you all the best!

I didn't have pregnancy loss. I had one healthy pregnancy, which had stronger lines. But I am having a lot of anxiety, mainly being scared of ectopic. I used to feel tiredness, some nausea and cramps/bloating, nothing today and maybe yesterday.

I know there is line progression but it is just loss of symptoms and the last 2 days that really got me spiralling (that's the best word you used).

I will update here as I do more test, hopefully I can wait until DPO 16 or even 17.
Thank you again 💛

@Happyhappy39soon40 🤞 all goes well

I didn't find the clearblue to have strong colour. The digital ones detected pregnancy but I found the intensity of colour could be different.

Ultimately pregnancy tests aren't designed to measure increased HCG. They're just there to say yes or no. Theoretically I understand how it can work. But all things can effect HCG - how much water you've drank being the main one.

Having super strong lines doesn't necessarily mean a good outcome. It didn't for me. I had super strong lines right up until my scan where I was told I'd had a MMC

PeacefulD · 17/02/2023 18:53

It was an unviable pregnancy, blood results confirmed. I am still not miscarrying, hope it's not ectopic and that it will happen soon.
