This is month two of TTC, my cycles aren't fully regular yet since coming off the pill but this is fourth cycle off pill. The last two cycles have been on the longer side at 38 and 35 days so when this cycle on CD24 I started to get brown spotting, more like just brown discharge, mainly when wiping, it threw me off. This continued throughout CD25 staying brown. Morning of CD26 I thought I had started my period (a lot earlier than past months) as when I wiped there was pinky/red and wiped again it was a small amount of red. I usually spot brown for a day before my period starting so this was all matching up to be my period.
I put a tampon in which later came out with only dark brown discharge on. A second tampon came out completely bare. Since then I've had absolutely nothing, today is CD27. No hint of bleeding, no brown discharge and discharge has actually dried up completely to be honest. I'm not testing for ovulation as we decided to take is easier the first few months, however I usually have experienced some discomfort around ovulation. This month I felt that around CD14/15 and we were DTD every other day around this time.
Any opinions? I'm really trying not to hang on to the hope of implantation bleeding, however in all the cycles I've had since off the pill, I haven't had anything like this, any bleeding as clearly been my period. I want to test if no period some point this week, don't know when would be too soon after these symptoms. And if I'm not pregnant I will be slightly concerned as to why there was a random bleed which lasted all of two wipes but enough to make me think my period was here!
(also feel completely normal otherwise, although did have what I would describe as my hormonal type headache last night that only went away with sleep)
