I’m due on the 20th so I’m really hoping to hold out. I really want to test on Valentine’s Day as I’m so impatient but don’t want to get my hopes up, just can’t knock this sick feeling

Tophy124 · 12/02/2023 19:00

@Holly03 I’ve been testing already and really wished I waited for AF!! I’ve had Evap lines and possibly an early cp xx

I’m due 17/18th, currently 9dpo and tortured myself by testing today. Absolutely bleakest whitest test ever 😂 don’t feel preg at all, no cramps like last month (cp).

Tophy124 · 12/02/2023 19:13

@ttcat37 Welcome! I’m 9dpo too and also been torturing myself with tests.

Not to build hopes, but it’s very very early to test!! I have one toddler and I missed AF before I got a positive test. It’s much more common to get a late positive than an early (despite what all the threads here make it seem)

That’s what is worrying me, with both of my children I didn’t test until I missed af and got faint lines then. So I’m not sure when I’m ovulating but feel the same as I did with dd so not sure if I’m over thinking it

Tophy124 · 12/02/2023 19:35

@Holly03 nedt MK the I’m going to use clear blue ovulation tests. They are pricey but they take the guesswork out for me as my ovulation date moves around and I’ve missed it a lot these past few months x

@Tophy124 Thank you! That is what I needed to hear today! I’m so happy to see BFPs, I love coming on here and seeing women who’ve been trying for months finally get theirs. I do always think ‘maybe it’ll be me next’ 🥲

I don’t think the conception forum is great for people like me who get a bit hung up in their 2ww as there are so many women that seem to get BFPs at 8 or 9 dpo. Whereas I thought days 9-10 were most likely implantation days then it takes at least 1 or 2 days to get a positive test.

We’re TTC our first and I’m 37 so not a spring chicken anymore. Had a chemical last cycle and the cycle before that and just had my day 21 bloods done at the GP.

Tophy124 · 14/02/2023 16:32

@ttcat37 how are you doing today? Xx

ttcat37 · 15/02/2023 17:31

@Tophy124 I’m ok thank you, bleak white tests for me at 12dpo so I’m out for this month. Now need AF to hurry up to start again! How are you doing?

Tophy124 · 15/02/2023 19:10

@ttcat37 exact same here!! Feeling really low and tearful today. Due on AF Friday and hoping to just get it over with!! Hugs to you xx

ttcat37 · 15/02/2023 20:38

@Tophy124 I’m due Friday too! I keep telling myself that I’m not going to test early next time but actually I feel like at least I know AF is coming and it won’t be a surprise. Don’t cry, we need to keep our chins up- not long though until we’ll be talking about OPKs and DTD 😁 my next ov date predicted by fertility friend is March 4th. Got my day 3 bloods next week too, will see what my progesterone is saying!

Tophy124 · 16/02/2023 00:37

@ttcat37 Im having my HSG done on the 1st March and they say to not DTD for 2-3 days after, so I think I’m going to be out for next month as I’m also predicted to ovulate on March 4th.

So April will be when I can try again! Don’t want to risk an infection in March so will try and be patient xx

Hi! I'm due on on 19th/20th... The waiting is going on and on!!

Sorry a couple of you are already feeling out of the game this time round. I really don't know what to think. 8dpo I had a day of cramping and was convinced it could be implantation but since then symptoms have been fairly muted and not like they were with DS so I'm not convinced anything has happened this month. Will know soon enough I guess..!

Tophy124 · 16/02/2023 14:05

Welcome @SnookyPook and good luck!!

Im due on tomorrow and definitely feel like AF is coming.

It is so hard to symptom spot! I don’t remember being this crazy when I had my son 😅
