Implantation or chemical?

Hello all, looking for thoughts on what's going on with me from others who've experienced implantation bleeding or chemical pregnancies.

During the two week wait I've been really queasy and had what felt like waves of morning sickness for the past 6 days (not sure when I ovulated as I never got a clear result). Was waiting til closer to AF to test- still 6 days away.

Last night I had some cramping and spotting. I bled more overnight- some bright red blood and tiny clots. Not a huge amount but definitely more than I would have expected if implantation bleeding, which I never had in my first pregnancy. It seems to be slowing down now, so apparently not an early period as only been about 12 hours. I still feel really nauseous.

Was this a chemical or could it be implantation? How will I know (will my regular period come when it's meant to if this was a chemical? Will tests give false positive?

Thank you.

A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarriage which would delay your period by a few days, it wouldn't make your period come early and it doesn't happen separately to your period.

I'm not sure why you're bleeding early, however. Breakthrough bleeding could be a possibility though.

Thanks @TheBirdintheCave that's helpful. Still uncertain what's going on.
